If i wouldn’t have had to switch loan officers during the middle of my refinance i believe things would have went a lot smoother. Kelcey was excellent once she took over my refinance but prior to that it was a complete mess. Minimal communication, incorrect title information, and multiple calls from the mobile notary asking to request scheduling for closing without hearing from PennyMac first. Once Kelcey took over, everything was swift and accurate. She was excellent!
The worst part is the communication, it was hard to get answers I thought I was entitled to a discount that was published and that was why I called to refinance and no one would ever give me an answer. I kept emailing the email showing the promotion and they kept telling me they never received it. Also the notary they set up for me had a six o'clock appointment never called to confirm and didn't call to say he was running late until 6:40 and was very rude about and arrived at 7:10 pm
PennyMac is a wonderful company to work with! All our questions were answered promptly and all the different divisions worked together and seemed to communicate with each other. Our refinance went very smoothly and we feel that our loan is with the best company!
I really like the experience by doing it with penny Mac ,it didn't take no time ,everything was great and I didn't miss no days of work to go nowhere ,when I left message they return my call ,if I have to do it again I won't hesitate to do it because I know who I dealing with.
My experience got off to a rocky start. Initially, my loan was rejected because PennyMac didn't understand my income reporting. I tried to get PennyMac representatives on the phone to walk through my financials with me, but this was difficult. I pushed my PennyMac representatives to escalate, which they eventually did. This is where PennyMac really shined. The reps involved in the escalation were accessible, took the time to understand my financials, and got the loan approved.
The only issue I had with the whole experience is the person that came to our home to notarize the paperwork never reached out with a confirmation, and showed up at the very last minute. A call of acknowledgment from them would have been nice. Everything went as expected as stated in the beginning. All expectations were meet for the comment of GREAT!
Took forever for this to get done. Started in early august, closed in late oct. It wasn't a reflection of Nichole, but your company needs to speed things up.
My loan agent, Brent was very professional and always available when I had a question. Great customer service!!
