There were several instances where the CTC number was changed drastically from what was originally quoted. Ultimately the number got changed back to what was originally quoted, however none of the documents, including closing documents reflected that number. I was not given any confirmation of my signing appointment time until 2 hours before the scheduled time. I understand that everything is busy right now but this is a huge problem and not how a reputable financial company should do business.
My wife and I got our questions answered in a timely manner during this process. Tony Torres, Ben Curcio and the team were always on top of their tasks. Even during weeks that there were no updates nor changes to our loan, Tony always called weekly to let us know that he was tracking and ensure we did not have further questions.
I had plenty of people to help me at every turn.
Better customer service. Taking time to actually answer questions beyond the minimum requirements.
It was very hard to reach anyone either by phone or by email. My emails were not answered on one occasion at all. I was told it was “missed” which then delayed our signing and funding.

Raveena was an excellent representative that walked me through the process and kept me informed at all times. Richard was extremely helpful in the transition phase of applying. Pennymac is a fabulous mortgage bank.
