Great, easy process!
There were several instances where the CTC number was changed drastically from what was originally quoted. Ultimately the number got changed back to what was originally quoted, however none of the documents, including closing documents reflected that number. I was not given any confirmation of my signing appointment time until 2 hours before the scheduled time. I understand that everything is busy right now but this is a huge problem and not how a reputable financial company should do business.
Great rates and great communication. Had great experience overall. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Since Pennymac is direct lender they have more flexibility in terms of loan duration and rates. Pennymac beats any estimate from anyone until closing even after locking the rate which is great.

My experience with PennyMac was excellent. All communication was very professional. I didn't have to duplicate provided documents, there were updates given as the loan process progressed, & all questions were answered promptly.
Communication ,communication ,communication - phone never returned and emails never answered And information constantly changing with no explanation. It worried me daily I had no information to assure me where the loan was progressing or not. I had to keep on them daily. Glenn Manulus was the only one who I could reach And seemed to be looking out for my loan process. Before him no contact al all for weeks. And the fact that it took till July 30 to fund my loan which made me feel so stressed .
Mr. Kyle was available for any questions and concerns I had or returned promptly with an answer,
Only issue was that the loan didn't close as quickly as I was originally told, by about 2 weeks. I had to push to get it thru Final approval stage which it looked to be in that stage for 3 to 4 weeks. Everything Lauren did was fantastic, it was not her fault at all, I really appreciated her efforts and I want to thank her for her communication and her help!
