Was a great experience once again
i was impressed by how quickly the process of the closing took.
Tahirah was great to work with, and made the entire process so easy for me.
My loan processor, Nichole, was great, I am happy with her! I am severely disappointed in the service (lack there of!) I received from the loan officer, Stephen. He was very communicative with me in the beginning (though I felt pressured to lock), up until we locked in. He quit responding to me. He promised a lender credit to match an offer I had, however, he would not send me documentation to support this despite my several requests. I had to ask a manager to obtain. Not happy w/ Stephen!
More communication on timelines. More communication on the docs to be signed at closing. Other lenders have sent all docs in advanced and offered to walk through them. PennyMac did send the closing disclosure but we’re very hands off.
The total monthly pmt amount on the document I e-signed was ~$100 less than the actual total monthly pmt on the hard copy of the loan paperwork I physically signed a week later. Prior to e-signing, I reached out to Antonio to clarify. He addressed my questions and said yes, everything was correct, even after I pointed out what I believed to be an obvious typo that could have explained the descrepancy. I wasn't notified that these numbers were incorrect until I saw different figures at closing.
Due to the situation with Cv19 virus, they kept me informed as to my refinance status.
Majority of the time was great until the final closing. I have not received information on the actual final fund reimbursement and wish that I heard from one of the Point of Contacts instead of just hearing it from the notary that processed the final paperwork.
