The closing was weird. We had the amount needed for closing but didn’t know to whom it should be written. We went through the trouble of getting a cashiers check written out to Penny MAC. Turns out, it should have been written out to the title who’s name wasn’t provided in the final closing documents. Then, it was requested that we wire the funds at an additional cost to us. Just odd!

The actual closing didn’t go well. We were scheduled for a Monday at 7p. The notary called several hours prior and told me she hadn’t received the documents from the title company. She texted later and cancelled. We rescheduled for 3 days later and I didn’t get a confirmation until a couple hours before the notary arrived.

I was so pleased with the whole process! From the beginning I felt comfortable trusting the team with my personal information. I've been through financing a home several times before. It can often feel stressful. Using technology for this task was not stressful. Instead, it was a pleasant experience. Thank you so much. I am pleased with the outcome.

Extremely pleased with the whole PennyMac process from my initial phone call to start my application to the actual closing. Everything was handled in a professional manner. Exceptional communication at every step. Brock Walker was extremely helpful in the loan application process and Jason Hord did a tremendous job of keeping informed each step of the application/loan process. Couldn't be more pleased with the process and I'm very happy to have mortgage back and being serviced with PennyMac.
