I felt Lana was great. The response time for Penny mac SUCKED. Sitting on hold for an hour and transferred to another hour long hold only to not get issues resolved SUCKED. I had a home which was with another lender. wanted to refi with Pennymac. The HELL was wasted time on phone trying to get a representative who would handle a home which was not already financed by Pennymac. Waiting for an hour on hold to be passed on to another hour long hold. SUCKED. This happened on three different days

Loan disclosure form changed without our knowledge. The closing documents changed without our knowledge. The closing documents were wrong at our closing which was rescheduled twice. Bad experience with PennyMac.

First of all I’m assuming the pandemic affected the process. We paid for a rate buy down and lock that had to be extended because our VOE was not received and no one notified Molly. We were waiting for notary to arrive, we were not told the appointment was cancelled. We immediately contacted employer to get VOE sent same day. We could have done that earlier if we’d known.

There were a few bumps on the road but Brittany Claypool was very helpful. Her outstanding customer service make this stressful process very easy. I never had trouble getting hold of Brittany or someone by phone or email. Great job team Penny Mac.
