I was very unsatisfied with pennymac and my loan officer. While initiating my loan application, I was informed thatI would receive money toward closing since I was not buying down my interest rate. This was considered a VA refinance because it was a new build. The weeks leading up to the closing were very stressful. The loan officer was ill informed and it led to delays in closing.
