Absolutely NEVER rent from this company! Its horrible! First of all, the rent price shown online is not what tenant will pay. There are many extra fees! From smart home fee, utility fee, etc. the smart home fee is so that Pathlight doesnt need to provide keys to the property and can automatically lock doors through a keypad. All dead bolts have a plate on exterior and can only be locked from the inside. Yes agreed! Pathlight is horrible, terrible, and has no integrity or sensitivity. Back in 2021 it took 3 months for them to finally agree with the vendors on what needed to be done to fix my plumbing as roots were growing in them. Pathlight paid three different vendors for different repairs and finally had to pay the most expensive plumbing vendor plus a tree company. I can not contact anyone. I fixed AC and then have to pay rent!! We need to be reimbursed!! How can we pay $1100 to the $2000 for rent!! Then sends an eviction notice!! Terrible company!!
If I could give a 0, that is exactly what ******* 1 and Pathlight Property ****** would get. My story is a long one, so I'm not going to get into all of it, but I will say if you want to live in filth, than by all means, rent from them, but if you dont, RUN. Everytime we send in payment, they recieve it on time and I know this because I'm always keeping track. I send it receipt requested. They don't add it to the account til about 5 days later and they add $300 fees when they already received it and it's obviously sitting on someone's desk. This happens often. I'm a military member who recently received orders to **********. This was a pretty fast paced move, so house hunting wasn't an option. Instead, we went through a realtor who helped us get a home through Pathlight. We were assured, by the realtor, that the house we signed a lease for, was "in excellent condition". When we arrived, we walked through the house to find out it was far from excellent. In fact, the house isn't even liveable. Absolutely HORRID company. Entire well pump and water heater went out and it took them months to fix correctly after multiple techs estimated it. They refused the repairs initially and screwed themselves by creating a more expensive problem. All because they are cheap *****. Their initial repair cut all water off to the home. It took them 3 weeks and 1000 phone calls later to replace my dead refrigerator. So i didn't pay my rent just to see how they would react, they were at my door step 2 days pass the due date. Funny how that works. Never rent from this company. They don't even believe in there mission statement.
I would give this company no star if I could, worse company to every rent/buy from. Customer is horrible, the manager follow up and dont get anything resolved. Empty promises, with no result. Filing a complaint with my housing authority, and obtaining, and attorney to deal with with s*** show that pathlight has put us through
