This company is the absolute worst to work with when you have a problem. If you need any help, you will not get it. Instead, all they will do is refer you to some section in the lease saying that they don't have to help you. So, they won't.If there is any part of the lease, and there are several of them, where it says they are allowed to (not have to) charge various fees, they will. If there was a rating worse than "Not good" I would choose it. I have lived in my rental for 1 month. One of my bathrooms has not been usable since I moved in. No shower and no sink. I have put in multiple work orders which have been cancelled, no shows and no return phone calls from a manager. I have not had a working microwave, doorbell, or water/ice in my fridge. Pathlight's customer service is unacceptable. Stay away from renting any property with this company!
Pathlight illegally evicted me from my home, and wont respond to my phone calls or emails. *** reached out to the **** Home Partners, etc but these people are extremely shady. Left me and my children homeless.
Please stay away from Pathlight Management and Homepartners of America. I applied for a house and was having difficulty passing the identity verification. I called as my spouse misplaced their SS card and was told without it there's no resolution. I asked about 3 different ways to move forward and was told "no" with zero productive solutions. The supervisor advised this is a long-standing policy by senior management. I'm trying to close on purchasing the home for almost 3 months, Pathlight sent an a/c company to replace the a/c and did a lot of things wrong and in result of that it did not pass inspection,therefore, there is still an open permit! What a horrible company to deal with!!!
My daughter moved into a rental property with her family 1 ago year ago in *************** and while giving her daughter her fist bath, the toilets starting backing up and waste was backing into the bathtub if the toilet was flushed and still is!!! There was a time a few months ago that they were unable to do dishes or shower or do wash and they have a now 6 year old! We just a drove a ways to view a property with an appointment and not only did the Pathlight system not let us in, they never answered our calls or text for assistance. 2 days later, still no follow up from them. They even gave us a number for a guided walk thru but that number goes to voicemail. What a bunch of c*** after they collected my application fee. I also called Berkshire but they said only Pathlight can resolve this. I may call the Georgia FTC and realtor association to look at this company. They should not be able... read more
