Since day #1 this company hasn't addressed major maintenance issues concerning the property. It took me 6 months to get the irrigation system fixed because it was HOA concern! And I could go on and on. But I think everyone gets the picture!
I put in an application for rental and was asked to send scanned signed copy of my social security card to proof my identity. That is not advisable to a company that is in another state and where i have had no communication with leasing agent yet. I was informed that if i didnt send them the ss card they would deny the application. This is big concern for potential fraud.
This is the one of the worst companies ever, they rent us a place that was dirty, full rooms with damage walls, carpet in horrible conditions, didnt clean at all, they obligate you to pay ***** every month for an air filter that cost 3 dollars and thats not necessary to be replace every month and in top of that you had to replace it, I paint those fking rooms, we clean that carpet, I have pinturas and videos of everything, we finish our contract adn ran from there leaving that house totally clean inside and outside with 4 ro... read more
I HATE THIS COMPANY. There homes are C*** and there SLUMLORDS they have venders that come to your home that are drug addicts and have no proper experience how to fix the issue. They charge way too much and then try to take your money and not give you your security deposit back. I can not wait to get out of this lease in May. Weve had soooo many issues and definitely hazard and illegal stuff that they ignore and are not willing to fix. We have children in the home and it is absolutely ridiculous. I will have a straight up law... read more
I have not yet submitted my application for rental, and that is because of my concern surrounding this company's requirement that I "wire them a deposit" after my application is approved. As a long-term renter, I understand that wiring money to a property manager is/can be financially disastrous. The credit bureaus even advise against wiring money. Again, I am not currently a tenant of Pathlight, but I write this in concern of folks that *** not know that wiring money is not a safe way to work with a property management comp... read more
Business response:
Hi *******. Pathlight can confirm that we communicated with approved applicants of the process and how they will retrieve access to the home. Once the lease has been signed and the deposit received the home will be removed from the market. Our ******************** team will provide further updates and communication with the resident about the next steps. For additional questions or concerns please reach out to us directly at *****************************************
I have submitted requests for repair for our irrigation system and washer. They flat out refused to fix the irrigation system, despite sending someone out once as well as the washer that is having the same issue it was when they had someone repair previously. They claim it is my responsibility even though they have already come to fix in the past. I live in a town with no laundromats. The nearest is an hour away. Come on.
Business response:
Hi *******. Thank you for providing your feedback. Per company policy, there are items that would remain in the same condition or are considered a resident responsibility. In the event that there is a leak with the irrigation/sprinkler system, we will send a technician out to assess and cap it off to prevent further damage or leaks. Additionally, our website and the Resident Welcome Guide, discloses we do not provide appliances such as washers and dryers. Furthermore, we encourage residents to create work orders to properly ... read more
Zero stars. We live next to a property they manage and it has been abandoned for 14 months. Zero action is taken when you call about an issue. No one should ever work with this company, NOT EVER! They claim to resolve issues when no one ever comes to the home. The home has been broken into and is unsecured after months of calling. Now people are dumping trash at the home because everyone knows it's abandoned. Squatters will be arriving soon, no doubt. I have spent well over 20 hours on the phone calling them and the company ... read more
Business response:
Hi ***, Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we do appreciate it. We understand the aesthetic of the home is important to the neighborhood. However, we actively addressing these concerns and verify the unoccupied home is vacant and address it accordingly. We look forward to working with you and improving your experience with us.
**STAY AWAY** ************ is ridiculous! They took three months to fix shingles that blew off in a wind storm, it rained before getting fixed which then caused a major leak in our second story staircase, which then turned into a 6x8 hole in our ceiling. We have been dealing with this hole since August 2023, were now at the beginning of December and it still hasnt been fixed. They are so cheap and continue to turn down contractors and look for a second opinion, which just causes more issues. The communication between them an... read more
Business response:
Hi Summer. We do apologize for the delay in repairs. We can confirm that there was a vendor came out on 9/4/23 to complete the roof issue. The vendor informed us they installed underlayment for the wood and installed new shingles. In addition, our resident service has been in communication to address the ceiling leak and collapse. We have approved the repairs, and as of 12/6/23, the vendor has attempted to contact the resident for scheduling.
Attempting to even view a Pathlight property is near impossible based on their inability to maintain lockbox access. I may only assume that should an actual tenant need assistance they should hold no hope of service ever being completed. As a result I am telling anyone I know not to waste time with any Pathlight listings in any state. Interestingly if you are fortunate enough to gain access to a Pathlight or Rently property they are normally so shop worn and over priced you wouldnt want to live in them. Pathlight needs to do... read more
