This Polaris replaced our 22 year old one. Although initially the connections around the discharge valve came loose and had to be reinstalled, this is just amazing with the thoroughness it cleans our pool. Best it’s looked in years!

We ave a 30,000 gunite pool with gunite steps. The 380 has never cleaned the steps. It gets hung up with them occasionally. It will back up then go right back to them, it might take 4 or 5 times to finally go else where. It will never get every inch of the pool bottom but it does get most of it. It comes in handy if I'm busy I put it in the pool to get the majority of stuff out. Then I'll get the remainder.

Brittle catch bag This particular one that I bought was used...it worked great but the top that holds the basket was brittle and didn't last long....it's winter now so I won't be using it til next year if I have it fixed but it served it's purpose before it broke so it was worth it for me.

This is my second Polaris 380. First lasted 15 years. It virtually foolproof and picks up large debris easily. Every pool professional I know says it is the best cleaner on the market.

Bought house with pool. Had an old 380 in it that worked for a while and then started falling apart. Bought a new one and went through all the set up operations myself. I am very happy with it. It keeps the pool clean so I don't have to sweep, vacuum, and purge. The zipper on the bag clogs when it gets dirty so you have to rinse it off well. Other than that, I don't know how you could improve it.
