I've had the polaris for about a year now, and as a first time pool owner, I'm amazed how well it keeps my pool clean. I was a bit suspicious at first, it doesn't look like much, but even after a hurricane blew through, the unit did an amazing job cleaning up the leaves and debris in the pool. Definitely recommend it. It really makes owning a pool a breeze.
This replaced the one I have. It was 8 years old and was worn out. I was never told to remove it from the pool when away for extended time as that degrades the unit. It plugged right in and cleaned the bottom in an hour.
