Replaced in Only 3 Years? This unit replaced one that was eight years old. This one is down in just over 3 years.
Works great This is my second one, the first crapped out due to my errors of adding shock while it was still in the pool. I can overhaul once I figure out how. Now I have the new one, and right out of the box it works perfectly. Did find a wheel off this AM, but it popped right back on. The bag is smaller than my first one, so they are useless. Guess the bag that came with it will have to do for now. Very satisfied, although the price was very expensive imo. There are cheaper models, so I picked the midrange.
Works well Replaces a 15 year old 380. Hope it lasts as long. These work but are a little fiddly to set up.
Cleaned whole pool in 3 hours My old cleaner broke so the pool was pretty dirty but this guy got it all pretty quick, just had to clean the bags out every 30 mins. shipping was great too. faster then the estimate!!
Great product Had my last one for twenty years. Got tired of fixing it. So glad to get this new one. It works like a champ. Easy to follow You Tube instructions on installing. Almost anyone can do this installation.
Does the job I bought this to replace one exactly like it. The old one worked for 11 years. We replaced a couple wheels and bags over the years, but it preformed well. That's why I got one just like it.
Had to do a repair on unit Unit arrived well packaged and included good instructions. After installation in pool noticed that the float on the unit kept coming off. Found that although the mounting rod was threaded the float was not so merely slipped off. Had to use a bonding agent to secure it. Other than that the unit has been operating well and I would recommend it's purchase.
East’s setup; it’s a workhorse! I would only recommend reading the instruction, watching a couple installation videos, follow best practices. From the time I opened the box to the time the bottom of the pool was clean was 4 hours. Some have argued it works sporadically - it’s supposed to! At a certain point it will stop, back flush itself to remove any debris, and continue on. Works exactly as advertised. If it gets “stuck” in the deep end, you haven’t read the instructions regarding sizing the cables, etc.
Not the same The new sweeps are not as good as the old. float on back filled with water within two days and sweep laid on its side. Two weeks later the Feed/timer pipe broke. Couldn't return as I bought this prior to the pool replaster. Called Polaris and had a 72min wait time. left number for the auto-call back. never heard back. Ended up buying and replacing the parts myself. Sweep still doesn't perform as it should. Rarely leaves the deep end........$700 and a dirty pool.....
