Best Robot Cleaner I’ve had. Well, this is my 6th robot cleaner and my first Polaris. It is head and shoulders above the rest, in user interface, programming for a full week, interruptions for pool removal, mobility on steps and platforms and is generally more user friendly. Now I just have to see if it lasts. Oh, the icing on the cake is the longer cord! So far I’m in love with it.
Ok cleaner Cord constantly tangles and prevents the cleaner from reaching both ends of the pool.
Reliable Pool Cleaner This is my 3rd 9550 Sport in 12-years, so it will last 5 to 6 yeats. Work great! Maintains a 13500 gallon pool. The suction in good, and climbs the pool walls very good. For the price I've been satisfied!
Pretty darn good. Not perfect. Feel free to check other reviews for specific info - I'm not here to regurgitate, just here to give a quick overview. I've used an old Polaris 380 previously, but it finally aged out and it was a bother handling the booster pump it required. Now the time has come that it's my turn to age out, and I'm tired of being the pool boy! So little robot it is.It's a solid, quality unit. Is it perfect? 5 Stars! Walbert is fantastic! I wish he could pick up the super fine materials (post pressure washing runoff), but he does a fantastic job of picking up the debris. Zero maintenance required for 2 years, so far.
Incredible and greatly improved product with no phone app needed! If Apple designed a pool vacuum, this would be it. This is so well designed and engineered and met exactly what I was looking for. I had the old Polaris 360 that finally died and I replaced it 5 years ago with a Polaris robot vacuum. I hated it! Expensive but worth it These are the best pool vacuums. This is our 4th one now, after several homes with pools. We’ve tried other brands and are always disappointed and come back to this one. Expensive but worth it
Will only work for 1 year! Works great for 1 year. I have gone through 3 of these Polaris 9550 machines. Each one last almost exactly 1 year. Each time I buy it, I keep hoping that it will last longer but it does not.The machine performs very well and it really helps with the pool cleaning. I would love to give it five stars but I will only give it three because it seems to have a short life. That's a lot of money to put out for something that's only going to last a year.
