Expensive but worth it These are the best pool vacuums. This is our 4th one now, after several homes with pools. We’ve tried other brands and are always disappointed and come back to this one. Expensive but worth it
Will only work for 1 year! Works great for 1 year. I have gone through 3 of these Polaris 9550 machines. Each one last almost exactly 1 year. Each time I buy it, I keep hoping that it will last longer but it does not.The machine performs very well and it really helps with the pool cleaning. I would love to give it five stars but I will only give it three because it seems to have a short life. That's a lot of money to put out for something that's only going to last a year. Best pool robot for the money My old one died after 4 seasons. You should know, I have a lot of trees on my property so I worked it pretty hard. When I went to replace it, I originally spent more money on a cordless version. It was worthless. Battery life was too short. It would die in the middle of the pool and was hard to retrieve and the wireless controls didn’t work after you put it under water. I quickly sent it back and got this model again. Take my advice. Don’t go wireless!
Probably worth it for the money just don’t leave it in the pool overnight OK so here it is year three and it’s still running and that is absolutely amazing for a Polaris pool cleaner. I’ve had two others before and they conked out before three years. I think they finally may have got it. I will say this they clean the pool very very well. Just don’t leave it in the pool overnight.. the longer youleave it in the pool the shorter of a lifespan.

Polaris 9550 is terrific! This is the second Polaris 9550 I have owned. It’s great!
Excellent product so far! So far it's been great. Cleans the pool well and this unit doesn't require wi-fi access to complete it's step-up. It has it's own remote which was great but not really needed. Plug it in and press start is all that's required.
Easy to use, works great Does a great job. This is the third time I have purchased one of these (over 10 year period) and if it is still available when/if I need a new one I will purchase it again.
Polaris has always worked for us so we are looking forward to our new one! We have not been able to use it yet because my husband has been sick; We know it is going to work great. We have always used Polaris
