Best pool cleaner I have used in 35 pool-years This is my third 9550 in the past 10 years. Tried other brands for the previous 25 years, but this is the best.
Top-of-the-line robot Really good works well no problems easy to clean the basket
The best pool cleaner This is the best automated pool cleaner. Works great at getting all the junk from our pool. Does not transverse our steps or the ledge we have but work great otherwise. We have large trees and it gets all of the leaves it drops. It picks up all of the dirt that gets blown into the pool as well. We use about twice a week. The remote control is good I hide it to position the cleaner when we remove it from the pool and to clean spot the cleaner missed (rare).
Needs to do more I like that it can move to the side for picking up. I didn't like that it would get stuck on the steps and that it only cleaned forward so debris would be blown back and not vaccumed
You can depend on Polaris! Just received but very satisfied so far.
Great cleaner The only reason I replaced my seven year old Polaris 9550 was the old one was fried by lightning
Exactly what was needed I wanted to wait until near the end of pool season to write this review. I’ve been very pleased with this product. I’m hoping for longevity and so far it is what I wanted. Strong suction and very easy to clean. I bought the fine mesh filter, and agree with a precious buyer that should just be included. Only hangup is the remote as it still doesn’t work even after attempting a few times to get it synced.
So far, decent We have a 40,000 gal free form, 13 yr old pool. Not our first cleaner and probably not the last. What works - very good suction, this robot climbs all the walls and does a good job at the water line. It also does our first two steps. All I have to brush is the landing and benches. Picks up leaves, sticks and very fine dirt. Emptying the filter is very quick and easy. Keeps the pool very clean. So far, I have not had any issues with the line getting tangled or twisted.
