Super Cleaner Pictures show the box it comes in and the unboxing.Easy to put together, was ready within 15 minutes. Best robot I ever bought OK. I have to start out by saying I’ve owned two Aquabots in the past that I would give zero stars and this Polaris has exceeded my expectations above and beyond. I’m so pleased with this purchase and I’m obsessed with this robot! I have a 40 gallon large lazy L pool and this gets the job done.Pros:It has great power, even climbs my pool walls and stairs to the top. Does a solid job, won't eliminate your pool chores. **Update 7/2021**So the cleaner stopped working a couple weeks ago, just gave an ambiguous error code (Error 10). I called Polaris (Fluidra, which also owns Zodiac & Jandy), and for warranty service they referred me to a local Leslie's shop (they actually sent me to the wrong one first). I've been waiting for the store to "get to" my unit for two weeks now - seems they're super backed up. Meandering Polaris not the perfect solution We’ve been using this Polaris weekly for a bit more than a month now, and it does a great job cleaning the floors and walls on our 20’ x 40’ rectangular pool. A great job, when it actually GETS to the dirt, that is. It has an entirely randomized drive pattern, no way to program this unit (and we confirm this with a service call to Polaris this week) other than the shape of the pool and whether or not you want to also clean the walls. Have to re-do the program every 7 cleaning cycles Does a good job cleaning, not great, but good. I have a fiberglass pool that's irregularly shaped. There are a couple of spots it just doesn't get well.Not a real fan of the remote. I've had to re-pair it more than I think I should, and I still don't get it working first try. Seems to be a magic sequence I just haven't figured out yet, no matter how many times I read the manual and watch the video. Fantastic Job I have a free-form pool and it has no problems getting around. Love the way it climbs walls and steps! I have a beach area too, and it tackles that without any problem.Vacuum power is excellent. Picks up the smallest debris.Plenty of cable for my use. Control unit does need to plug into GFI receptacle without an extension cord and be protected from the weather, so you should consider that. Wonderful Robot I read quite a few reviews on this before I bought it and was a little worried about some of the reviews. I put the robot in the pool the moment it arrived and probably at the worst possible time of year with tree pollen and debris filling the pool regularly. The robot has done an outstanding job. I often give it two cycles in the pool and have never had a problem. When it falls over or upside down it stops and thinks about it and has always managed to get itself upright and continue cleaning. Don't buy with remote control model Remote control didn't work, customer service very fast send me new remote control, didn't work they send me second one again didn't work. 3rd time they told me to take it to Authorized Warranty Service I called three of them one didn't have knowledge of remote tow told me they are too busy call in one month, and told me to return the unit so with lots of difficulties I disassembled it and good for Amazon no charge took it to UPS store I'm waiting to get refund after they receive it.I will ... read more
Budget for replacement cables, New remote not as good. Edit: The last cable I bought finally gave up after 3yrs (3 cables in six years). We replaced the entire unit and they've changed something with the remote control, the new one kinda sucks. It constantly over corrects and it's hard to get the robot pointed in the right direction.Does a great job keeping the pool clean.
