This works very well. Caddy that is included is poorly designed. Polaris is working as expected.Caddy fell apart twice, when hitting a bump. First time came apart and second time came completely apart. The plastic piece, which attaches the the controller to the caddy flew off, is lost somewhere in the grass or bushes. Where the connection pipe for the caddy to the sled that is to hold the Polaris came apart had a plastic male screw on the caddy base and a female screw on to connect the metal pipe to the the base. Good value Arrived early, easy to assemble. Like the fact that you can select shape of the pool. Doesn't make sense to have a power cord really short and ask not to use an extension cord. That needs to be improved ASAP. Have a 20x40 and it gets the job done.
Pretty damn good cleaner We tried 3 different cleaners from hayward and aquabott but this one did the best job true to its product description and then some ckeans above water live really well the remotes a little difficult to use. Like a Nintendo wii controller. 3 and half hour clean cycles we like it the best overall. Easy to clean and remove basket wit tge inside of the unit protected and covered by its own separated plastic panel cover. Worth the extra money. Just get it. Works Well, Remote OK Despite being very expensive, we are happy with the purchase. We live in the desert southwest, so did have to buy an additional ultra fine sand/silt filter canister to get our pool sparkling. This is our 2nd Polaris unit. Our first (we inherited from former owners) eventually needed new parts and a new power/cord which are - ouch! - expensive. Incredible Cleaner!! We recently had a new in-ground pool installed and the pool builder included a Hayward pool vacuum in the deal. It would clean up the leaves and visible debris but it did not scrub the pebble-tec floor. My neighbor told me to try his Polaris robot to see if it would clean the floor better. I could not believe the difference!The Polaris removed even the finest silt and dirt that the Hayward would simply pass over. Best thing to clean! We had a Dolphin vacuum that lasted 5 years. After two years of research and waiting we bought this one. Used it after having the pool opened and used the multi purpose filter about three times to get leaves and pine needles. Switched to the ultra fine filter and it is unreal what it picks up. It does “get full” quickly because the fine particles clog it up, but it’s worth it. Super Cleaner Pictures show the box it comes in and the unboxing.Easy to put together, was ready within 15 minutes. Easy to clean pool but… It cleans pretty well. It doesn’t clean my steps or the large seating bench in my fiberglass pool. The remote is worthless. The one that came with the unit would not connect with the robot. They sent me another,free of charge and it doesn’t connect with the robot. It shows it connects sometimes with the control unit but doesn’t guide the robot anywhere. I even tried changing the batteries and it still doesn’t work. Recommend purchasing one without the remote.
Don't buy with remote control model Remote control didn't work, customer service very fast send me new remote control, didn't work they send me second one again didn't work. 3rd time they told me to take it to Authorized Warranty Service I called three of them one didn't have knowledge of remote tow told me they are too busy call in one month, and told me to return the unit so with lots of difficulties I disassembled it and good for Amazon no charge took it to UPS store I'm waiting to get refund after they receive it.I will ... read more
