This robot does it all. Stairs, drain covers and you can direct it! The most impressive part of this robot though is the customer service. The initial robot I ordered kept getting hung up on the filter covers...the team contacted me and sent a replacement. I am a Polaris fan for life. Perry

Amazing! Everything I was missing from my previous robot and was frustrating is now past history. This Polaris 9550 Sport is the best unit I ever had. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to remove from the pool, all is fantastic. The remote control is absolutely incredible. One of my best buy this summer.
