Polaris 9550 Sport Robo Pool Cleaner (AKA Miss Piggy) We fired our pool cleaner company and hired Miss Piggy. She is doing a fantastic job. She just wanders around the pool at her own pace sucking up all the debris down there. After an hour or two she says “How’s that old pool look now Bubba? Well, it looks fabulous! We pull her out of the pool and clean her filter basket and let her rest until next week.

Inground pool must have!!!!!! I love this vacuum! I have a 36,000 gallon pool so hand vacuuming it used to take hours. Now I just drop the robot in, hit a button and THAT IS ALL!! It is easy to empty the dirt out of the basket and spray it out with the hose. I seriously don’t know how I lived without it!

Cleans well but several features didn’t work. I should have just returned this to Amazon for a replacement or a different product, but I really did want the remote feature so I decided to go the service route. Repair center is still waiting on a part almost two weeks later. Tried all the suggestions in the manual and talked with support at Polaris. They pointed me to local service providers. The first said they won’t carry or work on 9000 series units. I can understand not carrying them for sale but to not work on them when ... read more

High quality machine and easy to use Powerful, including very good leaf suction, and the standout feature to me is how easy it is to clean the debris canister. Takes a few seconds to remove the canister from the top of the machine and maybe 15 seconds to spray it out with a hose until is it completely clean. The canister has fine mesh walls vs. my old machine that had a cloth bag which was difficult to remove and get completely clean, usually took 5-10 minutes. Also, easy, intuitive screen for setting up a single cleaning or... read more

Does a great job cleaning debris from a pool So far, so good. I've had this pool cleaner for a month and have used it half a dozen times. It works great on both bottom and sides of our rectangle shaped in ground pool. It struggles a little on climbing shallow steps but still pretty much gets the job done. No hang ups with the cable; it floats nicely and doesn't kink or twist. The remote control is glitchy, and works sporadically but I really don't need it since the cleaner covers the pool well in 2 hours. It works much bette... read more

What’s not to like? After twenty years of using a pool side pressure Polaris, a friend suggested this unit and it is a game changer. Not having to have a pressure pump is reason enough to purchase this self contained pool cleaner. At first glance it might seem a little intimidating but it is really quite simple to use. The debris is captured inside the unit so you don’t need an external bag. Simply need a dry space, out of the weather, a 120 volt plug for power and your up and running in minutes. The tether cable runs from t... read more

Quite impressive Used this to replace a $900 Maytonics Triton PS that was always mediocre, missed corners and had to be run several times back to back to more or less keep the pool clean (with a pool company coming every other week to deep clean and do chemicals). By comparison, I unboxed this, plopped it in, adjusted the settings (3 buttons actually clearly explained in the enclosed QuickStart guide) and off it went. First cleaning with lots of dead algae on the floor (wish I’d taken a before picture) and this beauty knocke... read more

Cleans much faster then old vacuum but not great for fine dirt. This robot is much faster them my old one. It does a descent job clean the pool. However, it tend to just kick up the fine debris. Additionally, this model is probably better for tradition rectangle pools as it struggles to get into all the crevasses of our freeform pools. I don't think I would recommend or purchase again.

Last only 1 pool season I live in Vegas, lots of wind and dust storms that end up in my pool. Purchased Feb 2020, in Oct 2020 closed pool for winter. Used the robot 1x a week. Come March 2021 robot gave error 10. After multiple emails that went unanswered from manufacture i reached out to Leslie pool supply bright it in for repair.Due to pandemic shortages, i didn’t get it back to 4th off July weekend. It still has the error code. So Polaris authorized a replacement.Forward to March 2023 i now have Error 5 (right motor issue... read more
