Dr Poller and team were amazing and literally saved my kitty after he came down with a terrible case of Pancreatitis which can be deadly for cats. They were caring and thorough. Thank you!!

Pure Paws is fantastic -the staff is so kind, and Dr. Liff is the BEST ! Dr. Liff is the most professional and caring vet I have ever encountered. She has taken care of our dog since the day we brought her home, and has always made herself available for questions and advice. She is so sweet and gentle, especially with my dog who is always anxious at the vet. There is no one else we would trust to take care of our baby.

My husband and I have had such amazing luck with Pure Paws. We had an old, ailing and much loved dog who needed a lot of tlc and they were wonderful from the get-go with Milo. Dr. Liff even followed up after visits via email or phone to check up on him, which even our own doctors have never done! I recently brought our cat Dusty in to be spayed, and had a great experience once again. Can't rave enough! Not only has Dr. Liff squeezed me in last minute a bunch, but she always has amazing care for the love of my life doggy! When he needed meds she brought them to me when I couldn't come to Brooklyn. I travel 45 minutes to see her that's how amazing she is! Her staff always emails me forms I need ASAP and I've even home boarded with them! Hopefully I'll never need them for a true emergency but if I do I know my baby is in the best hands.

Really great people here, caring for both the pet and the human. always mindful of overall health of pet in what they recommend and also mindful of costs and how to manage the two. Open 7 days a week and till 7 on weekdays, makes it easy to find time for appointments and I have been lucky to park at the front door every time!

We were so happy with our recent visit to Brooklyn Cares. We have visited once before and found a check up was a lot more expensive than our vet in California... but it's NY so not super surprised there! Then when our Cat started having some blood in her urine we took her in for her shots, annual checkup and to see what was going on. Our nurse (not sure of name sorry) was so lovely. I told her what was going on with Penny and she instantly gave me her thoughts & said it's not uncommon in Cats so I had some instant relief.... read more

Everyone here is always kind and happy to see us. My dog's health is important to me and they do a great job. The waiting area is clean and tidy. It doesn't smell like animals. They care about their people too, offering complimentary hot tea and coffee and I'm pleased with their holistic approach as well. The exam rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with automatic exam tables that can be lowered and raised. Super helpful for heavy (or older) dogs that can't hop up on the standard tables. I'd recommend them :)
