Such a great experience. My cat and I were both very nervous for her first appointment in a decade, but the staff made us feel calm and welcome and were very patient with my questions. I was worried because it had been so long since she'd had a checkup, but they didn't make me feel guilty or obligated to go through with any treatment. They were very transparent about everything. Great service- my anxieties have been calmed! THANK YOU!!
I've been taking my dog here for years, and the staff is great. Vinny and Allison at the front desk are always warm and welcoming, and make us feel right at home when we come in! Dr. Liff has been a great vet; she's patient and thoughtful when responding to my (sometimes overly-thorough) emails, and she's never made me feel silly if I ask to consider alternative holistic therapies when certain more traditional routes aren't working for my complicated dog. We really appreciate feeling so well-cared-for here!
I took my recently adopted pitbull Lola in to get her ear infection looked at, after getting a quote through Yelp. Pure Paw's owner Emily responded quickly through the app and was friendly, and although I had received quotes from several other vet clinics in the area, Pure Paws was by far the most reasonable. $48 for an ear infection exam, not including whatever medication might be added after depending on results. The staff at the clinic is very friendly and I was seen very close to my appointment time. There were many oth... read more
Dr. Zamora and our tech, Danny, were EXCELLENT! My mini schnauzer, Onyx, was there for his 1st vet appointment and they were loving, attentive, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, Onyx has an allergic reaction to his vaccines and had to be given a steroid, Benadryl, and fluids, but Pure Paws made sure to give him the best care! I was a nervous wreck and they were kind and understanding. After setting Onyx up with a IV, they let me sit in the back with him. In about 15 minutes, he was good as new! Moving forward, he'll al... read more
TLDR: Really great neighborhood vet. Dr. Zamora is a very patient and kind Dr. We recently just adopted a 14-year old pup, and immediately brought him in for a visit. The front desk staff was warm, and quickly made us an appointment for the very next day. At the appointment, the doctor and nurse gave us more insight to our elderly pup, and answered all of our questions. They definitely care for the wellbeing of the animals, and worked to make our lil guy comfortable. After the appointment, we've received phone calls and... read more
Where to begin. The front desk staff was warm & welcoming. The waiting room has refreshments for both humans & furbabies (win)! Dr. Kamal was amazing with my Cookie Monster. She didn't want to leave the vet! The best part was the staff let's you know the fees before providing any treatment. I highly recommend this vet practice.
We love Pure Paws. They have been extremely friendly and the followup care has blown us away. We had to take our puppy to the ER overnight and Pure Paws was notified and followed up with us over the next few days to make sure he was alright.
My mom got a new puppy on Saturday and we needed to find a vet for him. I did some research on vets in the area and came across Pure Paws. So far they are so nice and kind, and the other people that came in seems to like them too!! They were so sweet and gentle with Manny (the new puppy) and they were extremely attentive to what he needed. They also took copies of his microchip info and the shot info that the store gave us when we got him. Manny now has a new PCP, just like the rest of us. We go back to them at the end o... read more
My dear old cat passed away at home in the wee hours of a Sunday. I was already so sad and depressed but also overwhelmed because I needed to find a vet that could handle her cremation services on a weekend. A friend had highly recommended Pure Paws as a feline vet and although my cat was not a patient at Pure Paws, they quoted me a very reasonable price and said I could come in right away. Vinnie treated me with such patience and kindness, which meant so much since I was already feeling so sad. He let me have as much ti... read more
