I was very nervous taking my newly adopted cat for the vet for the first time since he is very skittish, and due to covid I could only drop him off at the front door. The process ended up being very smooth and I didn't have to wait long at all to pick him up. Dr Schaffer was very thorough and transparent with cost and easy to get in touch with for next steps. I've never left a Yelp review before, but I've also never felt as strongly about a business as I do about Pure Paws. We started taking our previous dog to Dr. Liff because we lived two doors down, but we loved them so much that when we moved across town, we never even considered switching vets despite the inconvenience. Pure Paws is hands down the best vet in NYC/Brooklyn area! Every member of the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. I have never felt more confident or at ease anywhere else. My cat had some teeth removed recently and Dr. Liff called me through out the procedure to keep me updated and that made me feel really great. The next day I even got a call from them to check on my cat's progress! They really care about the health of the animals and it really really shows. I love all of the staff at Pure Paws Vet. I volunteer as a medical coordinator for a rescue and have also brought various foster dogs to vet visits at this Brooklyn office. I have only had wonderful experiences working with their front desk staff, vet techs, and the doctors. Pure Paws' Medical Director Dr. Liff is an absolute angel and I can tell that she truly cares so much about each dog. We love Pure Paws and Dr. Liff! They've taken great care of our older cat and now our new puppy. Their processes for COVID are fairly efficient and it was nice to discuss with Dr. Liff over the phone. They are also very transparent and intentional in explaining the costs of every test, exam, and vaccine before administering, which I appreciate a lot. Thanks to all the staff!

The team is friendly and very professional. We went there for an annual checkup for our cat and we had a couple of concerns. They took time to listen and observe our cat and addressed all of our concerns. They didn't try to sell any additional products or procedures and we really felt we were between good hands. Plus, they are very affordable! Will definitely stick to this place for our next visit!

no wait time, clean office, very calm caring and informative doctors! all my questions about adopting a new dog were answered fully and without any rush. my super nervous rescue dog had a great time and didn't seem scared at all. highly recommend!!
