Completely unprofessional and a waste of time. I began my search to refinance through Credit Karma because it stated that I had an outstanding chance of approval. I’m a self employed individual so I understood that it’s harder to actually show your income unless you’re paying yourself with a direct deposit or paper check. Rategenius is advertising on CK for a 3.5% refi for my vehicle; I have 830 CK 800FICO with less than 1% utilization. Well, I took the bait. After the three hard hits, they offer me same rate I already have. This is fraudulent advertising. Beware.

Tried to refinance and my wife and I over 800 rating. Not one interest rate was anywhere near what is advertised. False advertising???

Ran credit check without my consent , was just asking for a quote . No response from either party to remove .

Gotta love it when you have an OUTSTANDING approval for a refinance referral on CreditKarma, so you apply and the get denied because your car is just 1 year older than what they approve. It's a load of BULL, when it's offered and then get denied for something so dumb. Why would you even have it as an offer if it doesn't apply, and you'll take 2013 but not a 2012. Thanks for wasting my time and putting a hit on my score for nothing!

I was contacted by RateGenius about refinancing my new car. I had a call with the sales rep and I told them I wanted to get to positive equity faster and lower my interest rate even if my payment went up. The rep said they would call me back the next day but I eventually had to call them multiple times over the next few days to get back in touch. Got a text message saying I was approved and to give Adam f a call. I was at work and so I couldn't call. Well he called me and was RUDE. I told him I was at work and couldn't talk at the moment so he said well I'll go ahead and tell you I can't help you anyways. Lol. Rude. Unprofessional and waste of time. Don't hurt your credit with these people.

Alek Springer was supposed to be my loan specialist but he decided to not to call back nor email me when I refused to buy additional repair insurance he was pushing to sell. I asked him to email me loan information so I can read the terms and that didn't happen as well. They run hard credit check on you and leave you hanging. Bad business, I don't recommend them or at least the person I was dealing with.

A refund check for 2 (two) overdraft charges was sent to them instead of me, its been over 3 weeks and I have not received my check. They are keeping my money and no one is being held accountable for it.
