Not too great My loan officer from RateGenius was not real good at keeping us informed. And she was hard to reach
Horrible!! Horrible service! They havent responded to phone, email or text after leaving several messages. My loan officer is Samantha and I have yet to speak with her. They are mismanaged and have poor service. I received an email that I was approved and have had no response or emails letting me know the terms and rate. I wouldn't do business with them!
Hours of Work for $30 in Savings The customer service is wonderful. However, after a long phone call and a lengthy process, I was told my monthly payment would be dropped by just $30. I talked to the dealership I bought my car from and they were able to refinance me through a credit union, which dropped my monthly payment by over $200. In many scenarios, you are often better off refinancing with a credit union, which is something I'd highly recommend. Awful awful company, i had offers as low as 3%. i had 10% and they got me a 9% interest rate, how does that make sense?? they never even told me what the interest was the whole process so now i’m stuck with a horrible rate for who knows how long.
Bad Business Practices I was not sent all the proper documents to sign with my original paperwork. When RateGenius realized this they sent me a supplement that needed to be signed. This was signed and returned. They then called me to tell me my lease buyout paperwork had expired and requested a get another one from my leasing company. My buyout had increased $120. Avoid at all costs!. Never do business with this company. 1. They say they won't affect your credit score - highly deceiving because if you look into the fine print they WILL pull a hard inquiry. (see marketing email I attached - submitting to the CFPB as a deceiving practice) 2. They will take several days to even contact you saying there are rates avail. I had to call my agent over 10 times before I even got to a live rep. 3. I have an 800+ credit score with a vehicle worth 20k. They offered a horrible rate that made the p... read more

Refinance Nightmare This place was the worst company that I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. They were rude from beginning to end. Unorganized and mismanaged. I had to file a complaint because my agent was arguing with me about being able to add my husband as a co-signer because he's here on a VISA through marriage.
