ran my credit after mde an inquiry and said couldnt help
26 emails, 8 phone calls, and 3 letters… If anyone had warned me about how difficult this process was going to be I would've never started it. I should go ahead and admit that CreditKarma did connect me with Rategenius who did connect me with Capitol Credit Union who did get me a loan at 3%, a pretty good rate. But you have to wonder what the rate would've been if I'd not had 2 middlemen involved. I didnt get approve with 740 score I applied to refinance my vehicle with a 740 credit score and they didnt approve me for refinacing im disappointed i pay 23% interest on my car currently with capital one auto and wanted to know if i can lower it feels like i havent payed nothing off my current car loan with all the interest. This lender couldn't help im so upset still waiting for a reason why.
Apply with a credit union, they have better rates. Rate Genius pulled 2 credit reports without my permission, and then blamed it on Credit Karma. Will not remove inquires to my credit report. Avoid this company.
Vehicle refinance, fairly easy process, had to send notarized copies in twice because the first set of paperwork sent to me was incomplete (after I paid to have it notarized). I do recommend Rategenius.
Rate Genius Didn't Make the Grade!. Based on a recommendation from CreditKarma that I could save quite a bit of money through RateGenius because my credit score improved almost 100pts since the inception of my auto loan, I provided my information to RateGenius. They pulled my credit bureau, then said they needed additional information to be able to pull my bureau, and once I provided it to them, I heard nothing back. They send paperwork for auto withdrawals but don't tell u it didn't go through on 1st payment.
False advertising Credit karma needs to stop putting these companies on as good when In fact they are not. Second time trying to refinance through credit karma recommendations and boat bust. Do yourself the favor and go to your local credit union.
Terrible process and terrible service! I did not receive an email or phone call about my application being denied, I had to call them. Then I was told my application was denied because I did not have my existing loan for at least 6 months. I met all requirements under the terms of use and nowhere did it say you must have made at least 6 months of payment on current loan.
