Misleading I have been told so many different things. Seems that from reading other reviews that they pay the game a lot of promising one rate and then having to rate the rate and say they are sorry. Each time they mess up you have to get another phone so they can record they next lie they tell you. Marvin Kelley was nice but the process is terrible.

Waste of 3 hard inquiries Rate genius ran my credit through 3 different companies for an auto refinance, with 3 different hard inquiries. The denials included reasons such as too many miles on the car and the estimated payment would be more than the current payment - all things they could have just denied me without checking my credit. Applying through them was a waste of time and actively harmful to my credit.

Total misleading about savings and offer I recieved CreditKarma recommendation and comparison to refinance with this company. The "offer" was 2% less interest and lower monthly payments with an overall saving of $1500. After applying rategenius offered me the exact same loan I already have with no savings unless I would pay it off in less months. Frustrating I was approved for auto loan refinancing with Rate Genius. Before I had even talked with a representative, however, one of the lenders they checked on my behalf had sent me a rejection notice. So - my credit was checked multiple times in the process, which is not something they warn of in their application process. The "Accept this offer" is not real When you click accept this offer, they had a representative call me a week later, they asked me some questions about my cars mileage etc and said that they can not offer me an offer at this time. A big waste of time. I dont know why credit karma calls it an offer to accept. There was no offer to begin with. It's a sham.

LIARS Said that apply would not affect my credit score. That was a lie. If they lie that applying will not affect your credit score, what else would they lie about.

Was refinance would never again They tell how much your saving..after all they added in and stuff there selling I was taking 6 more payments to save $3..do your numbers there basically selling extra warranties..I do not recommend this company

Ehh The process started off pretty good. They were pretty responsive but my new loan ended up being way more expensive than my original loan? I also ended up having to pay another month of my old loan and the pricing of my new loan did not change so it was basically 400$ down the drains. After the process was complete, I was not told how to log in pay my new loan. I was just left hanging & had no clue how to even find my new loan.

Poor Experience The rep who assisted me started off by making this process seem seamless, effortless and quick. Yet, after every document that was submitted, she kept returning to me asking for adjustments to be made. My patience ran thin. 1 week into the process, she stated all documents were good except 1 last thing. After asking why wasn't I made aware of exact needs upfront, she gave me an attitude and acted like she was the only person on the planet who could offer me such an opportunity.
