Communication was great up front. After I sent in my loan documents the communication was little to none. I called and left messages and never received a phone call in return regarding my loan. End result, I was left paying the balance due on my precious loan.. I was not happy!
They Add Mulitple Inquiries on my credit After they lured me in on credit Karma showing me that they can offer better rates and a much lower price. i filled out the form and next thing i knew there were muliplt banks hard inquiries showing up on my credit and one bank even did it twice, all without speaking to me. When i called them they claimed i agree to it on page 3 in some disclaimer for them and there third party lenders to pull my credit. Waste of time. A scam Why in the world would I be "OFFERED" a refinance loan, only to apply and be told that they can't find a better rate???? So all I received was a hard inquiry on my credit. Wow really????
My loan officer Ed would never answer his phone and I had to call 3 times until someone went and found him definitely not recommending him to anyone hes better of fired im my opinion
They weren't even close to the quote.. Went through their application process. And they were happy to make a hard pull before presenting any details. Despite the fact that my FICO is in the mid700s, they came back with a quote that was 1% higher than the original with terms that ended up making sure I'd pay significantly more than my current, higher interest loan. Curiously, I told them to cancel the application. These people are a waste.

Sketchy Process. Sketchy Lenders So, I don't feel they did any homeowrk on the creditors they chose to try to send me through. The credit unions that they chose were a firefighters union that I'm not eligible for and a teacher's union that again I wasn't eligible for. My local refinanced me at a way better rate than what rate genius tried to get for me and they didn't make me feel like it was a sketchy process getting funding from some obscure out of state credit union that again, I WASNT ELIGIBLE FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Incredibly frustrating The entire process was overly complex and frustrating. When it first started it was supposed to be straight forward. As it went on, there were more hoops to jump through, i had a number of items that I had to do myself and in the end had to pay an additional payment on my loan before everything was closed and had to track down the payoff check to my previous lender. It was not a happy experience.
