The sides that are typically small in most places, were very generous and our waiter treated us to dessert, which was a very nice touch. I have gone back to eat there, its a gem.
as the title shows, we have been staying near by for almost 6 years, have walked by and never tried. went in for lunch, the guac was great and club sandwich super....liked it so much went for dinner the next night. try it!

Live music was great! The food was good, big space but still felt cozy. Lamb was cooked just right but the banana cream pie stole the show.
Wonderful food great location across from Carnegie Hall. The waiter recommended the Nantucket bay scallops. Great choice.
Great dinner. Steak was cooked to perfection.
Great atmosphere. Loved the beautiful layout which accommodates groups, couples or singles. I was a bit disappointed with my choice of entrée (Dover Sole). But other members of my group were satisfied with theirs. I would definitely go back, primarily, because of its location, service and ambience. I couldn't comment on the bar vibrancy since we had an early reservation. The service was pretty much what's expected from a restaurant of that caliber.
Expensive steak had to be redone several times, so when it was finally done the rest of the food was cold ..
Wide variety of dishes with a specialty of sea food. The side dishes are excellent and served family style with more than enough to feed a group. We each ordered our meals, and picked 4 side dishes for the table. We had more food than we could eat, and absolutely everything that was served was excellent. I had the small filet, and though it was much thinner than most petit filets I get, it was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth the way a good filet should.
