Get directionsI lived in New York for several years, and loved to eat at Redeye Grill. Having been gone for 10 years, it's great to visit and find this restaurant is still wonderful. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the location is just out of the Times Square bedlam. You are made to feel comfortable by the staff, with no pretense. And the seafood is very fresh and perfectly prepared. The beef is of high quality, and the menu offers options for everyone, but go for the seafood.
Went for lunch and sat outside. Nice spot and the covering over the tables keep it comfortable. Food and service is always great. Love the Cobb Salad.
We had the prix fix.. reasonable with great selections... Fish was outstanding and I dont like fish that much...Service was attentive ..From the minute we entered everyone was welcoming and with good humor.
Manager Carlo is gracious and welcoming to all.. Realized after brunch that we hadn't gotten a bread basket for table. Left with a bag full of wonderful bread goodies as compensation. It's that kind of place.
We recently went back to RedEye, because it was an"old favorite" of several people in our party and we were going to nearby theater. Extremely helpful attendees. Varied menu. Great ambiance.
Took my wife to New York for our 20th anniversary and we chose the Redeye for a pretheatre dinner. The resturant staff went the extra mile to make our anniversary special and the food was great. I was very pleased to have selected the Redeye as the start to an awesome evening.
We chose the Redeye because it is right across the street from Carnegie Hall. My friend had been there several years ago and remembered a nice casual bistro-type experience. They have changed! It is now a more up-scale feel (prices also!), but very comfortable. They have live music starting at 6pm, and the duo at the piano were very talented across a wide range. Jerry, our server, was wonderful. Genuinely friendly and helpful. He explained the history of the artwork on the columns, explained the menu, checked back with us, w... read more
The red eye grill always proves to be a winner. On this occasion, we were particularly pushed for time but our waiter assured that if we chose from suggestions he made, that we wouldn't be rushed and that we would meet our deadline. He was absolutely correct in that assessment! And, our meals were outstanding, expertly prepared, well-presented and the service was seemless.
