Bad service, he was nice, just never around. 2 of the 3 plates were actually cold, but had to flag down another waiter after waiting almost 10 minutes for our waiter to send back the food. Cool vibe, and atmosphere... just lack of service attention. Food was good when we got it served hot
Great ambiance. Seated at table next to traffic and bar; very busy. Dancing shrimp were good, not great (marketing!). Shrimp and crab cake managed to overcook shrimp while serving cold crab cake. Seared scallops were cooked well but underseasoned. Wine was good. Dessert menu brought out but 20 minutes later still not asked, so when asked just asked for check. Very good first impression but execution was lacking.
Lost its touch and way overpriced
Portions are a bit small for the price especially when there are no accompaniments. Menu is limited considering the supply chain liitations. No cheesecake!
This was a very disappointing meal. Oysters were sandy and not detached for the shell. I ordered the Scallops “signature dish” it was 4 medium size scallops, maybe 1 mushroom sliced and 1 leaf of a dark flavourless green. It was a small appetizer size dish not at all worth the close to $40 price. It looked like it was sitting for a while before it arrived as the sauce had a skin on it. Prices were high and portions were small, both for food and drinks (which were measured pours). Bread was served only if requested and for a fee. So, we sat with our drinks at an empty table until we figured that out. We all ordered fish, which tasted fine, but suffered from a very poor presentation and was without any accoutrements. Would not recommend unless willing to over order and over pay!
The menu changed, the waiter spilled water on us and had an attitude for the rest of the night. The food was just ok. I use to love this place, I’ll have to find someone where else to go unfortunately.
Overall it was good because the food quality was very good but the service was poor. The beverages took forever and the food came very quickly except for the garlic bread which was only delivered after we asked one of the other servers and we were almost done with the meal when it arrived. Our waitress was inattentive to say the least.
Seated 30 mins late - ordered right away, appetizers came and no meals for over an hour / we finally told them never mind and poof our meals appeared!! We ordered the thanksgiving dinner so you know they prepare……manager came and apologized but we’re never coming back….
