Service was really terrible and food was just as bad.
Very disappointing experience. The bread was at least a day old-dry and tasteless. The fried calamari was heavy and oily. The service was not professional- no appetizer plates, our waiter never checked back to see if we were ok with our meals. I told them ( and wrote to the restaurant) we were celebrating a birthday but it was not acknowledged. The tiramisu was thick , pasty and over sweet- possibly frozen? The positive - the sushi roll was delicious and the sea bass was good.
We were disappointed in seafood selection, menu items seemed to be fewer than our previous visits
There were several inhibriated women at the bar singing very off Key on a mic . It really ruined the evening ! The service was slow and there were not many people there. Food was ok not great .
Was very disappointed with my first trip to the restaurant. We had a 12:30pm reservation and did not get our food until after 2:00pm, and the restaurant was not even busy. The appetizers were decent but my salad was mediocre at best, which is a difficult thing to get wrong. Went for a business lunch and will not be coming back here.
The best part is the deserts which are excellent. The salmon did not have any taste. Just not a very good quality piece of fish. It is not cheap so I expect the food to be much better. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The bus boys tried to take away our plates when we were still eating. They need more training. We used to eat there around once a month, but about 4 months ago we had a terrible experience there where the waiter ignored us for most of the meal. Anyway, we decided to try again, but now will never go bac... read more
We read some good reviews about this establishment and it was walking distance to our hotel. It's a great location just two blocks south of Central Park near the corner of W 57th and 7th Ave. across the street from Carnegie Hall. We liked the look inside, good people watching location. The service was good, however, the meal was not. The filet had no taste, was a little tough, perhaps one of the worst in recent memory. It came with shoestring fries that were nothing special, most likely out of a bag, very salty. A kale salad... read more
I was excited to try this place for some time based on some posts on Instagram. The food was above average, but nothing killer when you have so many awesome options in NYC. Here's my 411- We had a reservation for a birthday celebration. The maitre d' was so friendly when we checked in and then it went downhill. The restaurant was at 10% capacity and we waited 15 minutes for someone to greet us/take a drink order. The service was sporadic, unfriendly, and slow. I had to request the bill and no one even acknowledged the birthd... read more
Mom and daughter weekend. I have taken clients to lunch and dinner here and had good experiences. Tonight was awful. Our server ignored us to say the least. My daughters meal was over cooked. Server never checked in on us. One of the worst service experiences ever.
