I had a fantastic experience with Rumpke's Haul-it-Away service in Cincinnati today. Scheduling was incredibly easy, and the crew arrived right on time--just two days later. Their quote was straightforward and lower than I anticipated. Once I accepted it, all I needed to do was provide them with a list of items and where they were located. I rented a large dumpster from Rumpke, it was delivered and picked up on schedule. The sales representative that I dealt with was knowledgeable, polite and efficient. Great price and no hidden fees. Also the weekly waste remove team does a great job every week and often get over looked as essential employees to the community.
I have experience with Rumpke both at home and at work. We've never had any issues with them at home. They provided sturdy rolling carts for both recycling and trash. They come when they say they will. It's great! As for my experience with them at work, it's been pretty good as well. We have a compactor, a cardboard dumpster, as well as rolling carts for mixed recycling. We rent portable restrooms sometimes and also use them for e-waste pickup. I would like to compliment our driver for a very kind act. I am handicapped so I can't take out the trash. My wife usually rolls out the bin to the curbside for pick up. She fell this week and broke 5 ribs and tore her rotator cuff and is in a lot of pain if she exerts herself. Our kind driver recognized that and very kindly came up to our porch and rolled the bin to the truck and then replaced it for her. He was very kind to her. Rumpke gives tours! Who would have ever thought!?! It was an hour long and very interesting! The worlds largest chocolate bar was buried somewhere in here (after it melted). There's also an elephant buried on the property (don't worry, he wasn't tossed in with the garbage). They do talk about education stuff, but, for some reason the chocolate bar and elephant stuck with me. Getting back to the tour...your on a bus the entire time and yes, it still stinks! It was great!
