Do not approach any rumpke employee at the truck. You run the risk of being verbally assulted by a bluehairtatooedspikeface person who might be an animal. Not many humans act that way so im not sure. Also the definition of large item for this company is not consistent with the dictionary definition of large. A matress is large. A couch is large. 7 chairs you can pick up with one hand is not large. Rumpke drivers like to harass the customers, first they broke my paid for trash cans (on video) forcing me to rent their cans for fear of them braking my $100 cans again, then they won’t return my rented cans back to my property, forcing me to walk into my neighbors yard to get my cans back, then I find these messages written in the dust on my cans, once again from the driver (on video) not sure what the issue is, if you don’t want to empty trash find a new job!! Out of all the garbage services I've had over the years, this is the worst company yet. They dig through your recycling cans and if they find a single piece of plastic they don't like they will remove it, and still refuse to take the rest of the can. This is what happens under monopolies. They take your money and don't provide a service, because there's nothing you can do about it. Properly train your drivers and this would be a non-issue. If you don't want customers to recycle, stop offering it as an option.
I’m so sick of Rumpke’s recycling employees. One week they take my recycling can from my property with no notice / reason. The next they can’t handle a broken down piece of cardboard. This also happened last week. I have to take my cardboard to an offsite facility. The diva that runs the Indian mound route in Norwood needs to be disciplined. Rumpke: Go ahead and copy and paste your cookie cutter response and change my name to make it appear personal.
RUMPKE IS A JOKE OF COMPANY TO WORK WITH. My family has had issues in the past with them, taking our can thinking it was theirs, throwing away one thinking that was the intention, damaging one and damaging the lid on 2 others. Everytime an incident occurred, we had proof and yet had to fight them tooth and nail. They might as well be called Rumpke insurance.
