They discontinue service for nonpayment even though we paid. They apologize for the mix up but it takes them a month to return the cans. What do you do in the meantime? Not the first time this has happened. I wish I had an alternative. I'd gladly pay more for a competent company.

Rumpke management is subpar. Whoever manages customer service couldn't manage a lemonade stand. They frequently miss our entire street on trash day, so when you call CS they give you the same song and dance about "trucks are still out" and "I just sent a message to them to let them know they missed the street" They have no clue what they are saying and have no business speaking to customers. Garbage of a company! Prices are ridiculous and the drivers are as friendly as rattle snakes. Missed my garbage several times but this last time I did call and they gave me a 24-48hr window to come back and it's been 6 days and my can is still sitting there waiting.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Missed pick up constantly and want to believe their lying driver. Do not recommend absolutely terrible!!!

My company has been a Rumpke Customer for over 30 years. After watching our trash collection prices climb and climb, and putting up with our employees being treated disrespectfully by their drivers, we decided it was time to look at other options. Best Way was over 30% cheaper. All other vendors were significantly cheaper! If you have an option, do yourself a big favor and shop this around. Too many missed trash pickup's. Customer service was no help. I am currently looking at other choices for trash removal.

I see Jacquie M saying they rarely miss a pickup if 5 times in a row is rarely I would hate to see often and apologize for bad experience but and a lot of 1 star reviews poor excuse for a company

I have found the representatives answering the phones for this company to be unprofessional and inefficient. I have spoken with people who were obviously chewing gum, or admitted they did not know how to simply begin a new pick up of recycling, or were abrupt and rude for no apparent reason. When calling I have been placed on hold for long periods of time. One time when I called the IVR was on a continuous loop of the same message no matter which button you pushed. I dread calling this company.

I've called many time in the last 1 and a half about trash cans not being serviced. I've stated I'm in a wheelchair when calling and they said they would have the supervisor call me which no one ever did multiple times. They only can to pick up my trash late after asking once out of at least 5 times. I even stated that trash is building up in my home and I can't move around. Still this happens and they don't care.
