Horrible company to deal with! Do not rent from them. Customer service is crap. Can not get a person to call you. Says they have to go by the lease yet they themselves don’t follow said lease. My yard service was included in the rent and per them it was to be done weekly yet it never was. When you email they say “well the vendor is having issues”! My rent is not late and has been paid on time. I have since moved due to issues so there is no need to submit tickets. All correspondence is in email since you can never get a person on the phone. My deposit is finally in transit although it is beyond 45 days since I moved out.
Second Avenue Ive been renting through them for about 6 months and customer service is horrible the head customer service support representative is the nastiest lady Ive ever came across In my life they blocked me because of language but I still have needs of the company Ive never been through this before in my life and they are outta town I just would not recommend them at all I wouldnt rent through them.

I don't even want to give them any stars. The house had multiple issues when we viewed it. We were told they would be fixed. They, of course, weren't. The house was dirty; we were assured it would be cleaned. It wasn't. It was much dirtier than we realized. We had to pay 2 cleaners who both worked 8 hours. While they were able to get most of it cleaned, there were still some issues when we moved in. It's been 3 months, and the company still hasn't reimbursed us the cleaning fees. I currently live in Palm Bay, FL and are renting with second avenue rentals. We will not be paying rent this month as they refuse to send someone out who is qualified to work with well water filters and the well it's self. We have been with out potable water for over 3 weeks. The work orders leave a time trail.
What a joke!! We have lived in one of their homes for going on our second year and have non stop issues with our water system since we moved in. From the septic not flushing properly to now our water smelling horrid of sulfur. We have 3 kids and a service dog and yet they could care less! We can't bathe, do laundry, or even cook anymore without buying butt loads of water to use. Its getting out of hand just how little they take maintenance and complaints seriously. I rented from them for two years and within those two years they would neglect maintance issues for long duration of time then charge the tenant(us) a fee because the issue got so out of hand and started causing other issues. Every single month we put have to call and dispute fees that they would put on the rental portal without notifying us about them. Second Avenue is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. We moved in on June 24th. On July 2nd, our AC went out. I have photos of our house being 90 degrees. It took a week to even be in contact with a contractor to come out and fix it. Finally when we did get in contact he never showed up. Living in a Second Ave property with my 2 small children. So far since our move-in, in June, we have had at lease 10 different contractors out to the home to "fix" things. The first contractor sent out made us aware of a huge carbon monoxide leak coming up from our basement, when he was coming to fix our hot water heater that was out for OVER 2 WEEKS.
