The company is efficient for the most part but I had some administrative things I had issues with and have been hitting a brick wall trying to explain what I was speaking to. I finally talked to a very nice lady named **** in the ************ and she was amazing!! Addressed all my concerns and was 100% professional! Yall need more Jodys!!!

Second avenue has been a great renting experience for us, we are getting ready to reach our 1 year anniversary with the company. But there is one person that can truly get the credit for how much we love second avenue and that is *********************. She has been so kind and just absolutely wonderful all the way around! I have had a wonderful, amazing experience with second Ave. property management ****** at corporate is amazing *****************. My property manager is amazing. The property I rented is amazing. They worked expeditiously to get me in and get everything in the home that wasnt up to par addressed immediately its an amazing company, and my background is in property management so for me to say that means a lot. What a great company. Good job you guys thank you so very much.
I must address a serious and unacceptable ongoing issue. On November 3rd, I submitted a maintenance request for my water heater unit which is rotted out & leaking water. It's very old 2008 model. As of today, November 14th, 2025, the unit has still not been replaced or repaired. I have now gone nearly two full weeks without hot water, which has made daily living extremely difficult and unsafe, especially as someone with documented disabilities. The worst company to ever have to deal with! We have been dealing with sewage backup in our basement for the past 11 days!! Every time we flush a toilet, take a shower or wash dishes or just run water at all and it just comes right back up the main drain!! I do NOT recommend dealing with Second Avenue. The communication among themselves, is absolutely atrocious. Meaning, you can speak to a CSR at Second Avenue, yet you'll be contacted by Steven O****, who seems to never read the CSR notes/arrangements in the tenants file 1st, before contacting the tenant. Second Avenue’s response to maintenance issues, are always slow. You are just a number/tenant to Steven O****; not a human being.

Whatever you do, no matter how nice the house is DO NOT LIVE THERE IF IT IS LEASED THROUGH THIS COMPANY. 2nd Avenue does not care if they are breaking the lease, my rent mysteriously “doesn’t get sent on time” and I now have to over night our rent. I was hopeful about the property and this management company, but I do not have a positive review to share. The rental process was clunky but relatively okay considering we were moving in sight unseen. When we arrived at the home, the property was dirty and I had to find a cleaning service to make the home move-in ready before I'd bring in my furniture. This was not reimbursed.
