I did an online rental for a 10X10 drive up storage unit at *********************************** for $92.00 mo. (standard price $122.00). Received gate code and storage #. This storage facility has been a nightmare to deal with: 1. They do not keep employees. 2. I had a break-in because their construction was so poor(particle board only between different units) that someone was easily able to break into my unit from the neighboring one. 3. Our organization has been a Public Storage customer for over two years. For nearly one year, we repeatedly reported a hole in the wall of our storage unit to on-site Property Management, raising safety and security concerns. I have been a customer for 2 years. I have had to have multiple units at various times. Right now I have 2. My large unit has seen a price increase mutliple times in the last year. Just a couple of weeks ago, I got a notice that it was going up to $453 a month for a 10x15 unit. FOR WHAT? There are no carts, the climate control is awful, employees don't exist. I have been getting a constant run around from ******* ****. The job keeps getting posted on job sites that they are looking for someone, I apply, get the job interview, and then ******* **** cancels it saying they went with someone else; just for me to see it reposted again that day. Someone really needs to look into it.
My month to month rent is $112. Somehow last month and this month is $168 and $153 respectively. I paid rent due on 12/1 on 12/1, now they want a $15 late fee?!?Also, the broke and stole the lock off my unit then sent me an email saying my unit was unsecured. They refuse to provide security footage of the time frame. What a joke.
