rude customer service, will lure you in with a good rate then two months in they will increase your rate by 45% for no reason. just to try and squeeze more money out of you hoping you're not able to move the stuff you stored. then when you try and cancel it's a big hassle. I would not recommend this location at all.
Unsanitary conditions at the ********************************************** location.I first noticed rat or mice droppings and the smell of pee throughout the space. I informed the attendant on site; they admitted that there was an issue but that was about it. When I returned to clear out the unit and close the account, I found a decomposing dead rat in the unit with flies and maggots and a horrible smell. Got a reservation for a storage unit but it precharged my card. The day before the unit rents I call in and left a message with the property manager (they never answered apparently) requesting cancelation. They didnt cancel so the day of the start I call in and still get no answer until I request to rent a new unit then magically I get a person. Public Storage refuses to provide written communication, does not offer payment plans, and escalates issues without giving customers any accessible way to resolve them. My father was a service member, and my family is disabled. We rely on written communication, but Public Storage only sends automated texts that cannot be replied to and never provides email support or ADA-compliant options. They left a hinge off which made it very difficult to close. And when I asked it to be fixed they got in my storage as told my Dyson vacuum and various hair dryers and rods. They tried to claim I didnt engage the lock so anyone could get in. Well I am a A personality and would never with my unit unlocked. Don't ever rent from Public Storage. They give you a low rate to hook you in and then raise your rent every 6 months by at least 30-40% each time. I rented with them for less than two years at their **********, ** location and the rent had doubled. This type of business practice is just unethical.
