This is the worst Fitness club that I ever join I canceled my membership but they are still charging me, they use ABC financing company to collect the monthly charges so I emailed them saying that I would not renewing my contract so cancel me but they still charging me and then I called Edge Fitness they said they can't help me so be careful when you sign the contract with Edge Fitness. You'll be sorry check all the negative feedbacks on ABC Financial.

They are in need of a huge update as the newer Edge clubs have a lot of great things such as a theater, sauna, women's gym etc. Some of the machines at the gym are very old. Ex. They only have two spinning machines at the entrance that are old and in need of some fixing. The ellipticals on the second floor by the pilates room are old as well and many don't work. No one cleans up after the tanning booths. Never saw a cleaning person go in there. The machines sometimes are full of sweat stains on the bottom. Now on to the trai... read more

What a horrible scam!!! If you sign a contract for a specific number of years, at the end of that time, they jack up the rates and keep charging. My son was a member and his went into collections and I hadn't received a single notice. AVOID AVOID AVOID!! A person should be able to easily cancel their membership when their time period is up. I've heard many, many horror stories about billing.

As with some fitness centers, here you will have two great moments: 1. The day that you sign up. 2. The day that after months of following up, they stop billing your credit card, despite cancelling the membership. Although the place is very nice, there are many issues with the staff. In particular, when it comes to billing. The cancellation policy must be illegal in many states. Notwithstanding you cancel, they might still be billing your credit card for months. I've been a customer here for two years and figured the Edge deserved my review. Two stars: it's a decent sized space (I think it used to be a Linen and Things or a Bed Bath and Beyond) but is packed Monday-Thursday any time after 4pm. And I mean packed- you will lose your weights if you put them down and the trainers will kick you out of a space if they're with a client (both of these things happen to me on a regular basis). We have policies outlined on the wall stating that athletic footwear must be worn at all times. Scam membership. The 19.99 is a scam because the credit card shows 24.95 plus a random 49.99 charge every few months. Overcrowded and not enough weight equipment. The prepaid annual fee of $299 is a scam because they tell you that you get 2 free months but after 12 months you have to pay or you loose the 2 free months. I reality, your paying every 12 months anyway.
Buyer beware!!! I was a member for six years no problem until I tried to cancel but multiple calls email and sending mail they would not stop my account. They continued to charge me for six months. It is now pay hundreds of dollars for a canceled membership that was never used or deal with the bad credit.
It's a fine gym, although I rate only the Zumba classes highly - I was not bothered with any of the other offerings - but they DO make it hard to break your contract. Moving out of the area, I gave the 30 day written notice that I want to break the contract, but the Edge would not accept the notice without some form of proof of new residency. I have been a member of this club for roughly 4 months. I had just moved to the area and walked in on a whim one day to see what it was about. While walking through I noticed a lot of awesome things that caught my eye. Pros -The gym is huge and has everything you would want, bumper plates and Olympic weight setups, dumbbells that go past 100, multiple squat racks, tons of machines, a turf, etc. It looks like a gym goers dream.
