Woburn, Massachusetts had a COCKROACH problem and they were SO LAZY to deal with it!!!!!! Also, it's been almost 3 months since I got my security deposit back. I tried calling, emailing, leaving voicemails, went to the leasing office twice now and STILL DONT HAVE IT. They tell me they sent it. Guess where? To the Woburn location apartment THAT I MOVED OUT OF. Like... What??? I said to re-send it to my current address and, nope, still missing. The properly was poorly maintained and pests were an issue for much of my tenancy. They also did not return my security deposit within the 30 day window. Avoid leasing from The Hamilton Company if possible.

1) Response to maintenance requests is dismal. Of all requests we submitted over the year, only about half got any kind of response on the first try, only half of *those* someone actually showed up as promised, and in half of those, the problem was only partially fixed, with promises to finish the work that were never followed up on. AC filters were never replaced in our year of residence (and probably before) and look appropriately disgusting and causing respiratory problems. When I think of the Hamilton Company, one word comes to mind...slumlords. My roommate and I have had issues since day one of moving in. Paola - the disturbingly rude and unhelpful admin of the Watertown office - should not be in customer service. Upon entering the Homer Ave apartment building we were greeted by a suffocating odor that has progressively gotten worse throughout our year long lease. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not rent from the Hamilton company unless you enjoyed being screwed over. The management of the Cambridge building is so terrible it's shocking. Don't bother calling to try to get anything fixed or if you have a question because Paola will verbally assault you. Everyone that works for them is rude and miserable. I literally can't think of one nice or redeeming quality about this place.

Literally and figuratively the WORST management company that I've dealt with for the past 10+ years. The watertown leasing office and the managers there are not professional in dealing with complaints: Several stories over my 13 month of stay in one of their Cambridge apartments so far: 1) My apartment had mice infestation. Absolute worst company to rent from. I was never informed about paying to park my car after I specifically asked. I'm paying 150 a month to park my car only to have my car parked in a parking lot 4 min away from the apartment meanwhile I see vacant parking spaces on the property and was told by the association there's no parking available on site. I live in commonwealth and maintenance is good when sierra not involved. The little times you can get her on phone she never help anyways. always promises to send somebody but never does. this is no problem anybody in maintenance but her. bad customer service all the time.
