Don't live at their properties. The people who manage the rent do not know what they're doing and will give you court notices when their checks and rent payments that they just haven't gotten around to looking at yet. I live .1 miles from their office on Brighton Ave and unfortunately I've had to go to this office multiple times to ask them to do their job. After reading your review, I believe that the disconnect may be that the company policy regarding rent payment has not been clear. Per Massachusetts General Law, and your lease contract, the rent is due on the first of the month. We typically give a 5 day grace period before notices are sent out to tenants that are in arrears. Toured some Hamilton properties and interviewed some residents. Learned that across all properties, the maintenance guys like to peep into doorholes and generally leer at the residents, and that you can hear when your neighbors run the sinks, shower, disposal, and close doors. Management may seem friendly, but as soon as you're locked into a lease, they become unresponsive and uncaring. Will not be leasing any of their properties and I urge you to do the same.

Nate with the Hamilton company was great. Very professional, quick response time and very tidy work area. Looking forward to The Hamilton Company maintaining Webster Green.
They are impossible to get a hold of, they would constantly say we owed them rent, despite us having stone hard proof we did indeed pay rent on time, brought people over to look at our apartment without proper notice, and sooo many more incredibly annoying things. Complete lack of communication within their office, my previous roommate and I were kept on the lease for 5 months after moving out, despite us having handed in the proper paperwork in time saying we wanted to be taken off. Would not recommend at all.

I have lived at the Washington Street units for 3 years with my husband, and we are moving out in August. We stayed for the relatively lower rent for the area, but have had nothing but issues with both the building and the management. If you don't want to read this, just take my word for it, do not rent from them. They are awful. On our move in day, there was bags of trash and a full room of dining and living furniture in our unit. My experience started out a little shaky with this company, but in the end they came through for me and I was able to move into my new home without any major issues. Maintenance is quick and very polite.
Very bad maintenance. many issues with water, heat and laundry room. It was a mistake when I moved in. Also the emergency phone number very rude. squeaky floorboard which makes so crazy noise underside. You can pay the same amount for better place. I thought the place is very convenient when I rented, but I ended up having too many issues!
