I spoke to one of the leasing agents (April 5, 2017), Alexa Meaney, paid the application fee and scheduled a viewing. I get there and shes a no show. I call the company, email and nothing. Not even a courtesy call following to explain, just silence. I don't think I've experience anything more unprofessional and if this is how they act prior to you moving, i can only imagine once you sign a lease. I don't recommend and I dont even know how to get my fee refunded.

Awful! Live on Gardner st for 2 years. You can chose Hamilton, If you want to get through over 6 times the heater dead in the winter( temperature is below 42 degrees inside), if you want to talk to the worst customer service( the lady is just rude, crazy), if you want to lose your packages several times. Disorganized management and outdated, overpriced property. We've been here less than a year and won't be staying once lease is up. Washing machines are constantly out of order. Old air conditioner in one bedroom we haven't used because it's noisy and doesn't work that well. Management is absurdly hung up on minor issues such as who can park where in this mostly empty large lot but I noticed a sign taped to a wall in the laundry room ordering homeless people to stay out. Horrible company to rent from. They lie and try to say you don't pay your rent on time when you do, even when you have the receipts to prove it. They also put out a monthly hit list with their towing company Frank's ABC towing, (another Allston bottom feeder), in which they try to take people's cars that they say owe them money for rent. Plenty of other places and people to rent from in this city. Stay away from Harry Brown and his team of scumbags.

Living here over 3 years now. Perks: 1. Doorman (even the grumpier ones), great location (directly across from the commons and the Boylston stop.) 2.Heating and AC units (they're old/loud, but hey they work.) 3. Maintenance people are very prompt, usually show up day-of to help you if you fill out a request. 4. Great water pressure in the shower. Cons: 1. I have lived in the same Hamilton building for nearly 50 years. Throughout that time Hamilton has always proved to be responsive to major maintenance issues. I never have trouble reaching an 'on call' person 24/7.....and if the problem is truly an emergency help is always promptly sent. Like all landlords, they watch their 'expense' line, and so you cannot expect work to be done to the same standards as you might for a million dollar private home. Nonetheless, issue ARE addressed. They're terrible. Awful. Never fixed anything in or apartment. Kicked us out on the 31st of August when EVERY realty company let's their tenants stay until September 1st. Nice problem. Bathroom problems. Stove problems. Heating and AC problems. Just a terrible experience overall.
I struggle to give them even one star. I paid my application fee and it took over a month to get an answer on whether I was approved. They told me the tenant decided to stay in the apartment after I had applied. I was not offered a refund for my application fee, which I should have been given that the apartment was no longer available. They claimed they sent me a disapproval letter in the mail, but I never received it. It took calling every day for a week to finally get an answer after more than a month.
