My wife and I had an amazing time while we took the sace class with Chef Scott. H e sat down down and talked with us and gave us several recommendations based on what we talked about. He also went into the back stories of the local food scene and food traditions that were very interesting. My wife and I would definitely consider trying to take another class from here.

What a amazing experience !!!! We took the hands on Roux Class and learned so much. Tyler was an amazing instructor. If you’re looking for a true authentic New Orleans experience then do yourself and favor and book one of these classes. You won’t regret it !!!

It was an all around fun experience from the start to the finish. We had a small group and the other couple, along with my daughter and I, hit it off from the beginning. Lots of information and the food was amazing! Would highly recommend to everyone.

If you want to have an amazing time while making a ridiculously delicious meal, TAKE THIS CLASS! My family of 4 (including two teens) took the Roux Class with Chef Scott on 11/24/20 and we were blown away by how great it was. The pictures on their website don’t do justice to how lovely the space is and they accommodated our change in menu the night before the class bc I booked the wrong one (although I’m sure it would have been yummy as well). I don’t know how to cook, but my boyfriend lives to cook. We went down for Valentines Day weekend and we came across this company looking for things to do. We had and absolute blast! It was surprising fun for both the beginner and the advanced cook. Our favorite was the shrimp and grits. We have made this dish at home several times since we have been back home. I would HIGHLY recommend Mardi Gras School of cooking!
