Lender threw a fit when something didn't go his way. Never-ending supply of junk mail. I went to Caliber Home Loans and saved hundreds!!
I have been having escrow problems. TMS acquired my existing conventional loan. TMS is sending me threatening letters because they claim I do not have the required homeowners insurance (which of course I do). Both myself and my insurance agent have tried to call them. I have also followed their instructions to upload policy docs online. Still receiving a letter saying they will FORCE me to pay for insurance of their choosing.
BEWARE of this company!!!! I started with them 5 years ago and my mortgage payment has increased by $1000. My principal and interest has remained the same but my escrow is being manipulated in ways that NOBODY at The Money Source can explain. I compared my tax bills and homeowners insurance from today and 5 years ago and my taxes have only increased by $1500 and homeowners insurance by $100 annually. Major SCAM alert for this company. This Company is a JOKE!!! I have been asking for months for them to fix the errors in my Escrow account, and every time I call, NOBODY has a freaking clue of what I'm talking about. I asked them to pay my 2021 supplemental tax bill, then in mid-2022, I received a letter from my county stating I had delinquent taxes, so I call my county and they said it was because TMS bounced a check. I start researching and I find out that they have been screwing things up and they have issued 4 different payments to my county for my supple... read more
Misplaced property tax payment been 3 months and still no resolution. Forget the secure message they can't do anything. Their property tax department also can't do anything they closed out the case in December and it's still unsolved. They also didn't post my form 1098 and when I asked for new one they told me where to look for it..no kidding it's not there. I don't think I can trust them to do anything correct. Guess the cfpb complaint might make someone do their job correctly. So far NOBODY HAS. How's that for a review?
TMS has told me they no longer have the ability to service a NY mortgage as they do not have NY licensed employees- how is that possible? Why haven't they sold the loan they can't support? There must be some kind of recourse? Having an FHA loan would normally allow an assumption- their only solution is going to another mortgage company with the comment- oh you didn't hear that we stopped doing these on the 3rd... no assistance whatsoever.
Why if all public debt is pre paid is this company foreclosing on houses like crazy. Where did the money come from that was created to give to your customers.. please advise because I know where. You need to stop all foreclosures now. You got the money from each person that applied for a loan.. the signature created money. USA corp is bankrupt..
After sending them my property tax bill multiple times and showing them the public tax records, TMS insists my property tax is triple the amount it actually is. My monthly payment has now been increased for no good reason and when I call I get forwarded to "Paul in that tax department," which is an Indian call center that keeps reading the same 3 lines from a script no matter what I ask. Completely useless. They put my homeowner's insurance into an escrow account but did not pay the bill to the insurance company, forcing them to send the bill to me. Their customer service team are no help at all, and nothing is ever resolved.
