What a scam. Their website shows mostly 5* reviews and zero 1* or 2* but when you click on the link to the review portal, you see it's actually mostly 1* reviews. I would think US regulators would have some rules against this false advertising.<br /><br /> My servicing was transferred to TMS. The login says I owe a monthly payment and it's past due. Veterans be WARY this company will CONTINUE to misappropriate your funds when you make principal payments even after you have specified that any payments above the minimum should be applied directly to the principal not prepaying the following month! I will be reporting them to the VA.
These money mongering individuals don't care about you or me. I asked them to put the 2 months I missed on the backside of the loan. I was getting back on my feet again after a tramultuous time in my life.. I called 4 maybe 7 times to talk to individuals. Then I got sent a new mortgage option higher rate.. They are my new servicer. The site says I owe a payment and it is past due. But the site won't let me make a payment online. Just says "check back later". I called and got the runaround. The rep just kept saying "Not to worry, you are protected." I asked her to put that in writing on any form that I could note - she refused. Mortgage was transferred to TMS from another institution. Tried to setup my account online 4 days after the transfer took place. Website said to call customer service. Called customer service and was informed that the upload of my information into their system could take anywhere from 7-10 days. My payment was due on the first of the month but I won't be able to make a payment until the 12th or 13th. TMS is so incompetent. You can call multiple times with the same question and depending on who answers the phone will depend on the answer. I will literally get a different answer every time I call. For the past couple months I have been assured that the automated payment was set up only for it not to come out and I am charged a late fee. When I called this month the rep tried to tell me I didn't set it up until October 31 even though I knew I wasn't around a computer on this day. Generally incompetent and the company doesn't pay taxes on time. They do answer the phone, although not with a person that can actually help you.
What a joke this company is. Sure will help you when it benefits them but when it's time to sell, watch out. I've been dealing with overpayment refund due to me since Dec 2021. I'm now having to resubmit my original documents from 2020. The customer service team is useless and unempathetic to my situation. I've asked for return calls, information to be mailed/email not received anything. Yet, system shows sent.
My mortgage was sold to this company and I cannot create an account to pay my mortgage on time. They keep pushing back the date that we can "set up an account". It's almost like they want us to get a late fee for late payment. Each person on the phone has a different answer. Incredibly frustrating.
