I tell you these car washes in Hanover, Pa are so ridiculous. I went to Tidal Wave Car Wash 2 weeks. I have a membershio mind you. There was a VERY light dustung of snow on top of my Honda Mini Van I was told I couldn’t go through until I brushed it off. Today I go back to run my van through the car wash and was told again I couldn’t come through because there is ice on my front grill. I said then you can cancel my membership right now! You all are a piece of work! I will NEVER go to one of your establishments.
Customer service is not what it should be. Went thru the wash with our “family -the works” membership 1/5/25 . The worker was busy with his phone as we pulled up to the bay. While being motioned into the track he laid his phone down. As the track started my vehicle had a pull to it as we went thru. Mid way thru several lights came upon the vehicle . I used this place for the first time 12/2/24. They said they had a special going and for $17.00 I could get unlimited washed for December so that’s what I paid for. Now I see they took $29.97 out of my account on 1/2/25. This was never mentioned to me nor authorized! This is very shady, dishonest business. I’ve been on hold for 25 minutes now waiting to speak to someone, listening to the same recording over & over. Pressing option 1 or 2 as the recording offers as options, does absolutely nothing!
Zero customer service I cancelled my membership the first month and they still charged me. Called and spoke to a very rude representative Asked for a manager to call - 3 days later nothing yet Sent them 2 emails and no response
I Do Not Recommend Tidal Wave Auto Spa I had a terrible experience at Tidal Wave Auto Spa on December 29, 2024, during my second visit to their Chesapeake location. Their negligence and unprofessionalism caused significant damage to my 2024 Tesla Cybertruck. Despite following Tesla’s guidelines by enabling “car wash mode” and placing the vehicle in neutral, an employee negligently misaligned my vehicle on the guide rails. Does not clean car very well for what you pay.
I went through the Richmond, KY location yesterday at approximately 2:42 PM and purchased the “Ceramic Sea Gloss” wash ($26). After the wash, I parked in a spot on-site to finish drying the windows on my vehicle and noticed my vehicle consistently dirty all around. I’ve had my card locked because they have been trying to charge my card for a week or so, I unlocked it today to use at the store and before I could lock it again the $24 was taking out. I called the home office and explained that I didn’t know how to cancel the membership and that my car is currently in the shop so I will not be using it. Corporate told me that they have to follow policy and that I could not get a refund.
