Uptown Hounds was founded in late 2006 by Steve Robinson, a Lexington, Kentucky native. He envisioned a true resort for our beloved canines where all expectations would be surpassed and spent 18 months developing the concept and constructing the Lexington resort. Centered on family and hospitality, the Uptown Hounds resort is an all-inclusive home away from home, including vibrant activity for dog-loving families.

Lola and Rulli LOVE Uptown Hounds!!! The staff is always so nice and welcoming! I have boarded my dogs and brought them for daycare. I love how much energy they are able to get out while they are there for the day. They always come home ready to snuggle in for the evening! Thanks for always amazing service, Uptown Hounds!!!

We have been using the Grooming services every 4-6 weeks for the past year. We have a Shiba Inu that shreds a lot and during the most recent visit “Sasha” did a phenomenal job with his bath, nails and deshed. This has been the BEST grooming we have received, than you very much Sasha. Jack will be back to see you soon.

I have been the grooming service every 8 weeks for the past year and every single time I have been pleased with the results. The groomers are always happy to speak to me about how the visit went and how Jack responded to their care.

This place and the people are amazing. They we so great with our girl. Loving her, keeping her safe,. Our girl really loved it. They even support originations that help find homes for other dogs. Cant say enough good about this place. PS. Natalie, Leia misses you. Thanks for being so great.

I had a blast with my 2 Black Lab Girls at the Open Pool this afternoon. Great facility and setup with safety in mind. Love the availability for low impact exercise and socialization! We'll definitely become regular long-term clients.

I wish I had a place to go that makes me as happy as Uptown Hounds makes Mayo, my toy poodle. He goes to day care there and once they take him he never looks back at me for fear I won’t let him stay! He really loves it. The staff is great and treats each dog like he/she is the most special dog there!
