Uptown Hounds was founded in late 2006 by Steve Robinson, a Lexington, Kentucky native. He envisioned a true resort for our beloved canines where all expectations would be surpassed and spent 18 months developing the concept and constructing the Lexington resort. Centered on family and hospitality, the Uptown Hounds resort is an all-inclusive home away from home, including vibrant activity for dog-loving families.

I have been bringing my pups to Uptown Hounds for over a decade. I feel very comfortable boarding and bringing them to daycare. The staff really learns about each individual dog’s personality. Also I have to recommend Christian’s training program. My sweet Lucy got out of our fenced yard and I panicked. I ran out front and yelled her name. The recall worked! She came running right to me ❤️ Can’t thank you enough!

I recommend 100%. Out 1 year old has been going there for several months and absolutely loves it! All the staff are super friendly and makes a dog mom feel great when her furbaby can’t wait to get in the door.

Elmer starts whining to see his friends at Uptown Hounds as soon as we turn on Angliana Ave! He doesn’t do that anywhere else. Staff greets him by name before I have even checked him in. Family has been taking their dogs there for a while and they are always pleased.
