Andrew Acuna did an excellent job for us. Everything was straight forward and quick with no surprises. I entered my information on the website on 1/13 and was initially contacted on 1/15. After filling out the required paperwork, my loan rate was locked in on 1/22. From that point, the appraisal was scheduled and performed, and the title company prepared so that we could close on 2/4. I worked with Andrew Acuna to refinance my house. He got me a rate of 2.5% for a 15 year fixed loan. When I spoke to the closing agent she stated that this is the lowest rate she has ever seen. Thanks Andrew for doing a great job!

I recently got the loan through Valley West Mortgage. Initially, they made a mistake not to check the lender's guideline that has been changed recently. Therefore, there was a delay and we were in danger of losing EMD. However, they found another lender and they could meet the expected closing date. In doing so, we had to switch from Conventional to FHA with the increased mortgage insurance, but we got a better interest rate. Our loan officer Daniel Tepel was able to navigate us through several loan options and was mostly interested in what we needed. We ended with a fantastic loan and rate. We were able to do most everything through email or fax which was very convenient with my work schedule.

We have been working with Andrew Acuna at Valley West Mortgage on a refinance of our second home for some time. There were a number of roadblocks along the way, such as incorrect historical records on the property and problems with appraisal. Andrew hung in there with us and he eventually prevailed, resulting in a successful refinance at a substantially lower interest rate. If you want a loan officer that does not give up easily, I highly recommend Andrew and his company.
