I had the very best experience bringing my elderly doodle here for grooming with Rachel. She's amazing, patient, companionate, communicative, and just so sweet and caring. After his previous groomer at one of the big box pet stores cancelled us because of his age, I was lucky enough to be referred to Rachel at Wag. She went above and beyond to care for my 15 year old doggy. He has mobility issues so she accommodated his needs with love. Needed a pet boarding since our last boarder stopped taking animals. Another issue is our dog is intact and many places do not accept intact dogs. So decided to give Wags a try. You pay more for having an intact dog but they had availability and we took it. Dropping off was super easy and staff were very helpful and friendly. Got a dog wash while he was there. They will send you pictures of your dog daily and that was cool because he looked happy. Pick up was a breeze and he smelled great after the wash. Will use again.

Wag Hotel Oakland has been wonderful. Everyone is so nice and I know my doggie is in good hands. I love the pictures they send daily for updates. They are always accommodating if I'm held over at work/running late. It has really worked out well and I would definitely recommend this place for your doggie.

Wag Hotel Oakland is our favorite place to take our two dogs. My partner and I work 12+ hour shifts and they are always so accommodating! The suites for boarding are great too! Wag will send us photo updates everyday while the dogs are at all day play--which we love cause we can see how much fun they are having! I would definitely recommend Wag Hotels Oakland!

I have been a long time user of WAG since my fur baby was a puppy. Every member of the staff has been helpful and always makes me feel like my little one will be well taken care of. He is there for All Day Play Small, gets regular Bath, Brush and Nails and sees his groomer Rachel who makes him look like a super star. When I have to travel I know that he is taken care of and anytime something has come up they call to check in with me. So I am always in the know. Wag Hotels has been such a great addition to my dog care. Having to go into the office at least once a week and being able to drop him off with a team of people who are always excited to see him. Wag Hotels is the best dog care center that I've experienced since adopting my dog 6 years ago. During the first 2 years of owning my pup, I tried a few other dog care centers but never felt happy/comfortable with the care (or lack of care) there. We love Wags Hotel! Our puppy Edith has been going to Wags for 2 months. She participates in the All Day Doggy Day Care program and has a great time! I check on her a few times per day via the webcam and she is always running around or napping near or on her human friends lol. We purchased the VIP package which is a fantastic value. This is was the first time we needed to board our 10 month old boxer puppy, Zeke. Have driven past the Oakland location multiple times, so decided to look it up on the web.
