My way-too-feisty little German Shepherd, Dasha, graduated from the weekly puppy socials at Wag RC with actual canine social skills.  Thanks to the patience and guidance of the professional trainers there, Dasha learned to keep her front feet on the ground while playing with other dogs, when to engage, and when to back off.  And I learned that taking a young dog to the dog park to "play" was like dropping a preschooler off at junior high.  Dasha had learned to hold her own there, but coping is not confidence and some bad beh... read more

Our two huskies always look forward to seeing their favorite groomer, Janette! We've exclusively used her for grooming for years, including after moving out of the Bay Area. She's especially great with and loves huskies, and I have no doubt that our pups are loved and well cared for when they are with her at Wag. Beautiful facility, easy drop off, and fair prices!

We all know that a dog's development is tremendously faster than human beings. Whatever age your dog is you basically multiply that by 7. So can you imagine how long it feels for them when you leave them alone at home ? Even though we would love to stay at home with our dogs forever, we cant. My 13.5 year old girl (lab) leaps out of the car when we arrive for her play group twice a week. She can't wait to get inside & greet the workers. She throughly enjoys her time there. I especially like being able to watch her on the video feed. She comes home literally dog tired. By the time we get home, which is a mere 5 miles she's snoring in her crate. I have been taking the dogs to the Redwood City location for about 3 years for daycare and boarding. We have a very active young Golden Retriever and a Westie puppy. The staff are, simply put, fantastic with the dogs! The pups look forward to going and always wag their tails fiercely when they spot their favorite staff members. That's a great indicator of pup satisfaction and I am always grateful that they come home tired and happy. The special events are also great fun for the pets. There are so many good things about the Redwood City location I genuinely have nothing bad or concerning to share. At the end of a full day at camp, our pupperoni comes home relaxed and rejuvenated followed by a peaceful sleep throughout the night! He greets the Wag staff with a welcoming paw and nods his head to say thank you, I'll see you again soon. This is by far the BEST location! Firstly, I have been taking my pups to Wag for over 5 years. When we got our second pup, we did the puppy social and it was an amazing experience! When we went to Japan, we did the board and train, again amazing! The team here actually care about your animals. They treat them like their own and give them so much love! A friend recommended this place for my dog, and I am so happy with the care my pup had. I was able to see him in his room, play with other dogs and when I called to check up on him they provided me with a lot of information. I don't tend to leave my pup anywhere, but I feel at ease knowing that he is in good hands when I leave for my next business trip. Good job everyone!
