Disclaimer: This review is only about the grooming department. I consider myself lucky as I decided to try my luck here to find a groomer for my small Pomeranian after having moved to this area. Sophia has done a great job taking care of Bounty! Bounty is now a regular and we always book with Sophia since she pays special attention during the session to make sure my fragile little pom feels comfortable. I'll definitely book with Sophia again!

My dog needs regular grooming -- Wag Hotels delivers with bathing and clipping. The extra-large size of my dog has been a problem for other groomers, but the team at Wags has him covered. I can't say he loves the experience, but the groomers go the extra mile to keep him calm and patient. Appreciate the results every time!

We've been bringing our dog, Percy, to Sophia for grooming for a few years now, and she's been amazing since day one. From the start, she did a great job in making him feel safe and comfortable, even in situations that would typically make him anxious. She's knowledgeable about breed-specific grooming and dealing with double-coated dogs, and always takes her time to do a fantastic job. We trust her completely with Percy and he always comes back looking and smelling great. We couldn't recommend her enough!

I've been visiting waghotels Redwood city for several years and Sophia has regularly looked after my cavapoo Gizmo for his grooming. He loves her and I really appreciate the extra mile she goes to ensure he looks his best and enjoys the experience. Even when he has arrived with a few matted patches she finds a way to de-matt him without causing distress. There is nothing but great things to say about Wag Hotels in Redwood City. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always helpful. In addition to these qualities, the managers all communicate effectively about any logistics, expectations, and/or concerns. My dog LOVES...and I mean LOVES it there, so much so that I almost always struggle with trying to get her to leave. Our doodle Twiggy is a regular at the spa with our groomer Sophia! She is caring, talented, and a true dog whisperer. Twiggy has some issues with leash reactivity but Sophia is incredibly patient and accommodating. We're unable to use strong scents in our home, and she goes out of her way to use scent-free products. Along with getting an adorable trim, Twiggy always leaves with the cutest bows!
