Loved this place! We moved to Mission Valley and needed a camp/hotel for our Bo. We have been taking him for months and he completely loves it. We have boarded him, groomed him there, and taken him to many day camps. The result for any service is always the same; a very happy and very tired Bo!! We love the convenience of Wag, and definitely take advantage of the live cameras, that way we always know how and what Bo is doing. Definitely will continue to take Bo here as much as possible.

Business response:

Thanks, Freddy. Bo is such a bundle of fun, we love to see him.

We have nothing, but great things to say about this location. We have an Australian Kelpie/Shiba Inu mixed breed and she is full of energy. The staff at this specific location had extreme patience with our puppy, Moana, and worked with her tendency to jump over the fence. Other locations were not patient at all, immediately sending her to a private room the entire day. From my understanding of reading on pet behavior, sending them away in isolation is an ineffective technique as pets are unclear about what they had done w... read more

Business response:

Thanks so much, Marsha. We really miss seeing Moana she's definitely a little character. We all got to know her little quirks pretty well. We hope to see her again when you are next visiting San Diego.

We were extremely fortunate to have found WAG Hotels in San Diego. My fiancee and I work longer hours and we wanted to find a place where our dog Malcolm would be happy and safe. The staff is amazing (Alyssa, Heather, Carlos, and Maca just to name a few) and they always take great care of our pup. The moment we say "camp" to him, he always gets a huge smile. We never have to worry about him getting enough attention or love while he is at WAG, and we know he is in the rights hands for All Day Play (day care) and Boarding. Gre... read more

Business response:

Thanks, Matt. We all love Malcolm, he's a lively boy in playgroup for sure, but he has so much fun with his doggo pals.

I have to admit, I was very apprehensive when Wag Hotels replaced Pooch Hotel because management decided to completely cover the front window. Duncan, our Westie, loved looking out the window so I thought he might feel confined to the enclosed space without visibility to the outside. I was wrong. Duncan loves Wag Hotel! He whines as we get close and then runs out of the car and barely looks back as the doggie valets take him back to his play area. It makes my heart happy knowing he has so much fun during the day. He comes h... read more

Business response:

Thanks so much, Julie. We love to see Duncan for his play days. He really does have a good time with his playgroup pals.

If I let Nymeria, our wolf-hybrid write this review it would off the charts, bubbling with enthusiasm. Every time we visit for All Day Play, she's pulling on the leash to get inside. Once in, she greets all the staff with kisses and goes off to play without ever looking back at us! I like that they take such good care of our pets and the staff is so affectionate toward our fur babies. Wag is affordable and flexible about hours, and most important, can be trusted to care for beloved pets. I couldn't ask for a better spot for... read more

Business response:

The Staff at Wag is amazing. My beagle Nola loves people watching and playing in all day play. Every visit she is greeted by name and loves the extra belly scratches from staff. Thank you for keeping her safe and wearing her out for me.

Business response:

Thank you, Malorie. Nola is a cutie. She really enjoys her play days and she certainly does like the attention from the staff. We love seeing her for her play days.

My dog is nervous around other dogs, but the Wag Hotel Staff was very understanding. My dog seemed like she had a good time. This was my first time using this hotel and will be using again!

Business response:

Thank you, Christina!. Mochi is very sweet, we all enjoyed meeting her.
