The Role

As the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Finance and Accounting organization, you will own end-to-end financial data integrity across systems and ensure timely, reliable reporting. You aren't just a facilitator; you are a technical architect who understands how a change in a Salesforce CPQ quote impacts a Tableau dashboard or a Snowflake financial model and other financial systems like Netsuite, Adaptive etc. 


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnership &; Functional Liaison

  • Act as the primary technical consultant for the Accounting, FP&A, and Revenue Ops teams.
  • Translate complex financial requirements into technical specifications for the Data Engineering and SFDC Backend teams.
  • Bridge the gap between business intent and technical execution, ensuring all financial systems are scalable and audit-ready.

2. Technical Architecture & Data Integrity

  • Design and oversee the data journey from Salesforce through to Snowflake and NetSuite and ultimately into Tableau. Strong working knowledge of Financial systems (Netsuite, Adaptive).
  • Collaborate with SFDC Developers to optimize backend configurations for billing, renewals, and commissions.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to build robust data pipelines that ensure & one version of the truth for all financial reporting.
  • Monitor the reporting systems and resolve the reporting failures before Finance blows the whistle.

3. Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Own the functional design of financial dashboards in Tableau, ensuring KPIs like ARR, Churn, and LTV are calculated with 100% accuracy.
  • For discrepancies between the systems, investigate and troubleshoot the root cause and put a mitigation plan in place to avoid repetition of the issue.
  • Perform deep-dive SQL analysis in Snowflake to troubleshoot data discrepancies between upstream CRM tools and downstream financial reports.

4. Process Optimization

  • Identify bottlenecks in the month-end close process and propose automation solutions within the business application stack.
  • Lead the functional testing (UAT) for all system enhancements impacting the Finance and Accounting departments.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Understand SaaS business. This person should do a first screen of ARR data/ SaaS Matric and understand how we would use the data.
  • The Hybrid Profile: You have a unique blend of technical "builder" skills and a deep understanding of finance/accounting principles with strong business acumen.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Extensive experience with SFDC Backend (Objects, Flows, CPQ) and how it integrates with ERP systems.
  • Data Fluency: Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Visualization Mastery: Proven track record of building complex, executive-level financial dashboards in Tableau or similar BI tools.
  • SaaS Savvy: A deep understanding of SaaS business models and metrics (CLV, CAC, Retention, Expansion).
  • Communication: The ability to explain technical debt to a CFO and financial compliance to a Software Engineer.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Finance, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Business Applications, Sales Ops, or Financial Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with the Salesforce + Snowflake + Tableau tech stack and knowledge of Financial systems like Adaptive and Netsuite and and Finance concepts like ARR, MRR, NRR, GRR and critical Saas Metrics.
  • Experience supporting Finance/Accounting teams in a high-growth SaaS environment.
