Responsibilities

• Owning production infrastructure availability round the clock and year running on heterogeneous public cloud including AWS and GC
• Writing reusable Infrastructure code and testing frameworks for Infrastructure
• Writing tools and frameworks to allow engineers to provision infrastructure and manage access controls 
• Ensure solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations.
• Taking on new infrastructure requirements and infrastructure code
• Reducing Mean Time To Recovery(MTTR), enabling High Availability and fault tolerant systems
• Containerization and containerization orchestration(K8s) of the entire platform.

• Experience - 2 to 4 Years
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science - Extensive experience with Linux systems engineering.
• Experience in managing multiple production grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Expertise in managing large scale Cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS and GCP using Kubernetes.
• Expertise in different deployment strategies and hands-on experience of CI/CD methods and tools
• Handling large size logs using systems like ELK and metrics at a high scale
• Strong hands-on experience in automating Infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Docker including proactive monitoring.
• Writing applications using programming languages like Python and Perl with working experience on scripting languages like shell.
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work across disciplines to influence, learn and deliver.
• Systematic problem-resolution approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
• Knowledge of Databases like MariaDB, mongo and AeroSpike is a plus
• Availability for working in weekly rotational on-call
